  1. Right after that I got an urge to swim up a stream and procreate like crazy.
  2. Think of this forum as the equivalent of the high school gym class locker room. Even if your liked you get an occasional old jock strap in the face. Look forward to the range report.
  3. Welcome to a den of world class Enablers!
  4. Back to thread, nice MM. I may have to look at one of those.
  5. A net profit of $700 after driving it for two years plus can keep it? Could be a lot worse.

It is smelt season up here, a time of all you can eat greasy fish fries. Tried something new. Got some cleaned smelt, rinsed in lemon juice then water and dried, coated with olive oil and sea salt and grilled on skewers over an open flame. Delicious! Just like Spanish street food!
  12. mrmackc is right. I have a standard "loaded" M1A with the NM front sight blade, and it helps a lot, You can probably pick one of those up from SA. With 68 year old eyes, I popped a 1x6 power scope on it which is just about right. My scope mount is just high enough I can still use the irons. Have to wait at least a month post shoulder surgery before I can shoot again. Nice looking pooch.
  13. Hmm..... I have $1299 invested in my AR10T, with a Burriss scope and (correctly mounted )PEPR mount that cost me another $180 on sale. What is this $5000 AR10 you speak of? My standard AR10 was $1499 with a $400 Nikon optic. Since when can Daniels Defense or PSA use the AR10 trademark?

    ^^^^^ A great 1911 resource.
  16. Welcome, the builders on this forum will point you in the right direction. If you don't shoot more than 175 gr, the 11.25 twist will do fine.Any more take DRD's advice. Actually this is a 308AR build. AR10 is proprietary Armalite. For good values on optics, check out Primary Arms. Also the Nikon Monarch line. A 4x16 would work, actually more optic than you need at those ranges.
  17. Happy Easter everyone! Don't spend it like the Japanese Easter Bunny below! (strange picture, I know)

Are you talking about the MOAB or the blondes tits?
  19. I went ahead and got a large pin single stage trigger. Works great.
  20. Still soak you for the large pin models.
  21. Welcome back.
  22. That is the current military "barrier blind" ammo. Look up the thread on it in the Ammo section. JT found it to be hot and lively. It is designed to penetrate, rather then deflect.
