  1. We have one wanting to go in near us less then a quarter mile from a trout and salmon stream. 10 Million gallons of pig crap a year.
  2. I have the Burris fixed mount, which works fine, I have heard of problems locally here with the QD Burris. After you switch that, think about other things. Did you do a break in procedure on the barrel when it was new? My current favorite for my AR10's are 39.6 grns. RL 15 behind a 175gr Sierra Match King in my 1 in 10" twist 16" barrel. Winchester primer, M118LR Lake City case. In my 1 in 11.25" twist 20" barrel rifle, I am using 41 grns. RL15 behind a 168 gr SMK BTHP, Winchester Primer, M-80 Lake City case. Not max loads by any means, but quite accurate.
  3. My 16" has a 1 in 10" barrel twist, by the way. Probably why it likes 175's.
  4. They broke the mold with him.
  5. Only picture I could find of a factory load group in my 16" AR10T. it was Lake City M118LR at a 185 yard range off a rest. Burris 3x9 scope. Cross wind 10-15 mph. Gun and ammo are more accurate then I am. As the flyer shows.
  6. Using 175 Federal BTHP Gold Medal Match or Lake City M118LR 175 gr. in my 16" AR10T when I shoot factory ammo, which isn't very often anymore. Both are very accurate. I will see if I can find any old target pics from those loads.
  7. Carter did the right thing, but 98's point is still valid. Track down the crooks inside the California NG who started this mess.
  8. A rusty one reportedly was worth $25,000- $40,000 a few years back. These though would saturate the market and probably lower the price and value.
  9. Only over 140 mph.
  10. Wait until you see my full camo wrap.
  11. Fom the article, it sounds like it was a decision made from the "ground up" or in this case the "grunt up". As they are the ones betting their lives on their sidearm, they should have the biggest say in what they can carry. So.....

But I will always be a huge fan of Aaron Rogers. Hall of Fame lock.

I lived in Minnesota for 46 years and was there in 1960 when they started playing. I tried to change my allegiance over to the Cheese, but the Purple is just too deep. So I am just gonna enjoy the ride.

Dallas doing a beat down on the Pack. Wondering if Rogers has a shoulder or arm problem? Vikes 5 and 0!
  17. Didn't see the firearms prices, but $475 for a ten pack of 14 shot mags? ouch!
  18. What are the reviews on this? It looks nasty!
  19. There is supposedly a bar in Miami with a drink called "The flaming gerbil". But I don't think I wanna know much more about it.
  20. Just a thought: while it adds a little weight, a 16" bull barrel gives you a lot of flexibility as far as distance accuracy in a shorter, handier package. If you are going up and down the side of mountains, go with the shortest, lightest 308AR you can find. A pencil barrel, etc. etc.. It Sounds like you want something fairly mobile, but those pictures would indicate you also want something with high accuracy potential. You won't lose anything with the 16" barrel versus a longer one until you get well past 500 yards, and I find the heavy barrel makes for a really secure platform for longer shots.
  21. What about changing the oil on the motorcycle? Armalites will do that.
  22. Betting ammo, a couple of cheap AK magazines, a magazine loader and a front sight adjustment tool.
  23. One sweet looking rifle as well.
  24. Oops! Just found 55 44 brass and 72 308. Got a little more to do. Than I can tackle the 500 5.56 brass that is already sized.
  25. Kinda guessed you might be slaying some salmon. Good luck with the Elk Season.
