Its a pity, there are so many companies that make inexpensive free floats for the AR15s, and so few that do them at all for the 308s.

I've got a 20" barrel and 12 inch troy handguard, and I can't recall the brand of gas block but its covered. Just barely, but is covered.

the downside of that is that only areas with restrictive laws will hurt economically and (as statistics around the globe have proven) more restrictive gun laws equal significantly more violent crime even if in some cases they do lower the murder rated.

for laughs, i'll explain it. Its an icon for a "power" in a video game, Bioshock Infinite. its called "Muder of Crows". The basic description ""MURDER OF CROWS: Stun and damage your enemies with a thousand needling beaks." seemed fitting for a 300 blackout sbr :)

hmm, yeah. Maybe it makes sense for me to have 2 slings, one of each or the convertible. i'm going to do some of the competitive rifle/3 gun shooting, so the 1 point would be nice for that. But I also want to take this hunting in the woods, and the one point sounds like (as I figured) would suck for that with a long barrel.

I'm ready to get a custom paracord sling for the LR308, and I dunno whether to do the bungie style 1 point connector or a more standard two point. Not having used the one point before, can anyone tell me the advantage? note i'm a 20" barrel setup.

I've only ever wanted an indoor pool. Even in FL, where its swimmable weather 9 months or so with an unheated pool and year round with heat, I have no interest in putting one in my yard. If I could have one in the house, I would. But with kids, etc, choice of house has so far been more about size + location rather than necessarily me picking luxuries I want :)

either its a really long rifle, or really small pool :D That is really sharp. I love the PRI handguards, my budget doesn't love the idea so much.

Cant comment on that one, but the Mako GL-Shock seems like a well made adjustable stock.

how does the falcon work out on the 22mag? They have nice reticles, and the price is pretty decent from what I can find online ordering out of the UK

I think you've got a fair shot. that is more or less the normal retail or a hair high for normal retail on it (but not by much, $20-30) but it seems like the huge excitement and lowers selling for 2x what they did in November is done. I've always like those because of the ambi bolt release. I'm right handed, but all 3 kids are lefties :)

yeah, just its harder for 308 to find the matched sets actually in stock. Mega Maten + SI Defense are the main 2 for that. I found a mega maten at a not horrifyingly bad price on gunbroker. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=339328295 but not seeming to find them anywhere else in stock

matched sets only? or are a separate lower + upper ok?

I hadn't looked at those Leatherwood Camputers before now, but that looks like a pretty sweet scope for the $$
