Started reloading not too long ago. I've used 175 SMK's and Barnes Matchburners (175gr) with IMR-4064 with good results. No need for SB dies though. I use full length Hornady die sets and Lee die sets (I like their factory crimp dies). The Hornady has a better elliptical sizer/punch assembly, and was much easier to use than the Lee dies.

Hmm.... I do have an almost new black ACS (standard AA battery tubes, not the ACS-L model) lying around that needs a home. :) If you're looking for a fixed stock instead, there's always the PRS.

How about replacing it with a magpul PRS ?

Perhaps it's a buffer/buffer sping issue....?

I'd recommend checking the lower receiver. With the upper open/disconnected, stick an empty mag into the magwell and see if the bolt catch is engaged and pushed up by rear end the mag follower (It may help to first cock the trigger back). I had a similar problem with my CMMG when it came with the wrong mag catch installed. Did this to check and got a replacement mag catch from CMMG that correctly engaged the mag follower.

...yep, but that comes in handy for light gunsmithing work. The wood jaws won't mar anything up.

Looks good. I oughtta pick one up. ....one thing I noticed... you're limited to putting the reloader at the ends since sticking it in the middle would end up blocking the drawers.

....wonder what's making it go "straight to the ass". :D
