  2. Dangit wash I was really hoping he was building a 20MM AR with that .750 gas tube. :)
  3. .750 is 3/4" Did you miss type something? And what caliber is this rifle that has a 3/4" gas tube? Are you building a piece of artillery Tony? #confused
  4. This is why I am currently in the market for a matched upper and lower. Just to have, just in case, ya know. I like the Salt Works, just researching the reviews on it now.
  5. It was Seattle's best coffee that got me off topic and on my rant. Time for a Sam Adams.
  6. Here is the link to the thread survivalshop was talking about Click the link above ARTrooper.
  7. This crap is getting old quick around here. I'm sick and tired of the constant whining by the POS entitlement crowd. Nothing like looting and rioting so hard working people CAN'T go to work! Sorry for the rant. I'll go back to shopping for more ammo. :)
  8. There is a ton of great insight in that article. Good find unforgiven!
  9. From a born and raised southern Californian, now proud to call North Carolina home, welcome aboard!
  10. Another friendly wave from North Carolina! Welcome aboard!
  11. Welcome to the best danm 308AR forum there is. And another friendly wave from North Carolina!
  12. I setup up a huge piece of oak in the basement of our old house. 50' long shooting range right there. I used to practice my with my NRA slow fire .22 Ruger Mark II all the time. My wife never complained until I let one go out of my Ruger Super Blackhawk .44mag. She said she didn't know who jumped higher, her or the dog. Damn I miss that Blackhawk.
  13. United Way won't get a damn penny of my money. I was on a town board with one of there local state executives. He actually bragged that they gave 2.5 cent on the dollar that they received. He had a 6 figure salary and a brand new car every year. Fumm!
  14. I was thinking about a guitar stand. I don't think it would heavy enough. Then again, a Les Paul weighs about as much as my LR308 unloaded. lol
  15. If you take the flash hider off of that beastly DD of yours, you won't need the flashlight!
  16. jj109 is it thicker than an A2 grip? I saw one grip that had removable a palm swell and the front strap. I think it came with three different sizes, that just might be my best bet.
  17. Awesome build! Can you give me your take on the Hexmag adjustable grip? I'm looking at the Hogue stock and grip, but that Hexmag has really caught my eye.

Dangit Mike coffee on the keyboard!
  19. Wow! Damn fine rifle. I'm talking top shelf caviar right there!
  20. Does anyone know of a free standing floor stand that would hold my LR308? I'm looking for a free standing, single rifle, type of ready rack. I don't want a wall mount as I want to be able to move it around the house. I did find a couple of the that looked like a long shoe box standing up. There has to be someone on here that has something like this. Thanks, Shane
  21. We really need English to be the official language of the U.S.A.. COME ON TRUMP!!!!
  22. This ^.
  23. Welcome to the forum from North Carolina.
  24. Not a true Detroit locker in the rear, it will definitely spins both tires. I have been on boat ramps that I couldn't walk up they were so slick. That dang Montero pulls the boat up the ramp like it's on dry pavement.
  25. Interesting indeed. I'll have to log in to HKpro and see what the "insiders" have to say about this one.
