Beware of maple flavored syrup vs actual maple syrup. It's hard to improve on bacon but a suggestion... next time you're frying up bacon, drizzle maple syrup on the bacon strips a couple minuets before you pull the bacon out of the pan. Cultural trivia- what is sold as Canadian bacon in the USA is called back bacon here in Canada.

Happy American Thanksgiving to y 'all. It was American Thanksgiving that gave me my first introduction to deep fried turkey Canadian retail has started promoting Black Friday sales which isn't a bad thing. There are several Americans on the project I'm on( joint venture Canadian/USA company) they were a bit surprised that Canadian Thanksgiving isn't as big a deal as American Thanksgiving. Ours is a 3 day weekend in Oct.
