Just finished 6.5 CM, very hard to get shell out of chamber
Ravenworks replied to Glenn's topic in Member Builds
Did you headspace the upper with ypur current bolt? Are AZooms plastic? Oiling them could create a suction. -
-
Parts list says Carbine length gas tube and the barrel says Mid Length gas system?

Little off topic, but they have Bushmaster 16" Chrome barrels for $99 https://www.cdnnsports.com/best-sellers/ar15-barrel-556-16in-socom-chrome-bore-bushmaster.html

No worst than a top tier company like Geissele taking your money then getting sent a notice that it would take 13 weeks for your order to ship. I took the discount coupons I got from them at SHOT and threw them all in the trash. Ordered my stuff from Primary arms and had it 2 days later. I don't know if you realize it but you do come across as a dick towards a lot of people. In real life me and you would probably get along fine, but here not so much.

It's pretty awesome, and always nice to get a new shooter interested in guns and their responsibilities

Good review Like Doc asked, what upper are you using? I don't know if you know but they ripped off 5D Tactical for their jig.
-
How much have you researched this cartridge? You will need to have machine work done on the upper for large casings. Then there is also known feeding issues. It is however a nice cartridge that has a lot of potential

Finally something we agree on. Speaking as someone that temporary has a compromised immune system, washing your hands is the number one most important thing you can do for yourself. After being on chemo for 7 months, I became a germ a phobe. I finished chemo over a month ago and all my numbers are steadily climbing. I will continue the practice of washing my hands frequently because believe it or not it works.

Dude,I'm not worried about you, and I sure as hell don't hate you. You do have a big line of BS and little man syndrome. I sit back and watch you talk down to just about every new person that comes along. You drive away a lot of people. I stick around for the entertainment value Don't inflate your worth because in reality you have only accomplished a small percentage of your grandious BS.

You sound like a groupie, did you tell them your lumberjack stories?

Yes it is,all he got from shot was a 3K bar tab. I had to laugh when I seen his name tag it said "Probie", dude get back on your bi-polar meds. You really are starting to look like a gut with arms from all the drinking.

Remington had nothing to do with it, the owner of Remington dosen't care about gun or bullets nope just a boardroom and the bottom line. California School teachers union absolutely RUINED the Timken roller bearing company, RUINED it. I can't blame Timmy and Jane Timken, nope bottom line boardroom. My grandfather worked there for 52 year's as did most of our family.

Seen this coming a very very long time ago. Do some digging into these two companies, one is a shell for a billionaire gun grabber In 2006 it was sold for $70 million to Cerberus Capital Management (the parent owner of Remington). The company became part of what was then called the Freedom Group.

Look for the forge marks for a start -
I will say one thing, I give your guy credit for having his ducks in a row. Before I retired I would occasionally get sent to a tree job on a rental. That limb that got away from your guy was probably alot more than 900 lbs. The limb in my picture weighed close to 1,400 lbs Oak is heavy period and once you're on the rope you are committed. Here's a few pictures of a couple of monsters that a company took down. To give you an idea of how big these two were, I had 140' of boom out and if you look at the one picture there is a guy riding the ball up. Normally riding the ball is illegal as hell with the one exception, that being granted to arborists. The company is a national company and had the rule exception written for them. I made them show me the proof because in 30 years I never seen or heard of such a law. Doc, please take this advice You need to find out if your lateral is an old steel line or plastic, the gas company will know! If it's steel I'd highly recommend getting it replaced, period. If you have a plastic line, any transition parts that are made of steel or any type of metal on the house side should be replaced. Make damn sure the transitions on the house side are dug up and visually inspected. If it were my house, I would demand the steel/metal be replaced, reason being you don't know for sure if the plastic line was melted or got hot. It matters as it makes the lines brittle. I don't know if you are in an earthquake area, but that Aluminum flex line needs replaced as well. As for your electricity issues, pick your OWN electrician. Dropping a leg from your service will throw everything out of balance. You are very fortunate that you didn't have a fire inside of a wall.

That's a really dangerous situation, your bolt catch is not working better. If the bolt catch is what's causing your gun to fire anytime it wants to with a bump the cause needs to be found ASSP and fixed.

A few weeks ago I read an article online about a company called Podavach they are from the Ukraine. They make a new style of magazine loader compared to what is already on the market, that handles multiple calibers. I looked them over on their site and decided to order two of their loaders, one for smaller caliber and one for larger caliber because together they were less than a Benjamin I have a MagPump Magazine Loader and it's great if you're just going to use it at home, when you want to take it out in the field is when it turns into a PIA. Back to the U-LOADER by Podavach. I liked what they offered that the others didn't, their small loader loads ALL calibers for the small frame AR & AK MINI-14, ( in the picture below it tells you which caliber that it can load. Their large loader also loads quite a few calibers and different magazine's as well. Something that Podavach does that the other loaders on the market don't is they can handle just about ANY magazine you can throw at it that belongs to the AR, AK and others such as the G3, M1A platforms. They have a couple of interesting videos about how their products are made. The loaders seem well made and durable as well as the nylon cargo bag that comes with it. The only thing that sucked, but was given ample warning was that since they are brand new they don't have much stock. They are literally selling them as fast as they make them, other than that I have no complaints. I did write to get an ETA and the email was answered promptly. I do not work for them and in no way shape or form other than being a paying customer am I associated with the company. I hope someone got something from my short thread as I feel these will prove themselves a valuable asset in the field. https://podavach.store/

Always nice to have real world data, thanks

That really nice looking stuff, their prices look reasonable considering it looks like quality kit.
-
Sorry, though you were into them,I'm not making anything off them, in fact it would cost me MY TIME to seek them out and send them. No I guess I won't pimp my free time. But, As you know the original stuff is all but gone. So have someone delete the post doesn't matter to me.
