  1. Here are pics of my gen 2. does this help?
  2. Sounds interesting.
  3. I bought a Stoner 9mm upper from Midway. Supposed to work with Glock and Colt mags. I installed a Yankee hill 9mm buffer 5.9oz. I have the Stern defense mag block to use Glock mags. If I lower the adapter block down past the regular mag catch it will load, fire, and eject about 80% of the time. The rest of the time the bolt doesn't go all the way into battery. I have also tried the endomag adapters that go in a pmag. Same results. This started on a collapsible stocked lower. I have also tried it on a A2 lower my Beowulf upper is on. Same results doesn't go into battery about 20%of the time. Any ideas what to try next? Maybe a 308 buffer spring ? Kinda running out of ideas.
  4. Welcome from Ky.
  5. Nice 22's. Here is my pile of Kimbers. All original series like the 70 series Colts. Top on is 1 of 250. Gold guardian. Ciener kit let's me shoot 22' through all of them. Middle one is an ultra elite. This is before they started the CPD series. Bottom one is my carry gun with crimson trace. All of them shoot better than I can.
  6. Good looking rifle. Welcome from Ky
  7. Welcome from Ky
  8. Gas tube showed up today.
  9. That wasn't much of an answer from PSA. Keep forgetting not everyone has access to a place to shoot. Again good luck with the guns. They will work eventually.
  10. These attacks on LE and first responders needs to stop. We need to go back to monthly hangings in the court house square. Kill or attempt to kill a first responder gets you the front of the line next month in the square.
  11. Till your parts come in might I suggest you put the A2 stocked lower on the 18" with the handguards. Mine is an A2 with the handguard and runs. I did buy the lower complete from PSA. I do have the proper gas tube on the way and will change it out when it arrives. Good luck.
  12. Good idea.
  13. Welcome from Ky. Lots to read and learn here. 24" sounds like overkill to me but it is your rifle. My 20" bolt gun in 308 shoots 1/2 MOA when I do my part. These things are heavy as it is. Have fun with your new project.
  14. YES!! they changed the shipping cost. Now only $8 shipping on a $15 part.
  15. It's worth a try
  16. Fished Ky lake years ago (like 50). We are ENE of Louisville a bit. 200 acre farm.
  17. The SHOT show. Always a good time. Have fun.
  18. Ordered. The shipping was more than the tube. For ground
  19. Thanks for the link. I will order it shortly. Still waiting on a 9mm buffer I ordered last week off of gunbroker. 9mm AR doesn't go I to battery about 1/3 of the time but I am using a ar15 carbine buffer and I know it is too light. But midway had the upper on sale for $229. Bought a stern defense mag block so I can use glock mags. Now I'm out of stripped lowers again.
  20. Here ya go.
  21. From all the reading I have done I need a longer gas tube. Just barely comes in to the cut out. Need a better trigger, lo-profile gass block and a freefloat fore end.
  22. Shelby co. NW of Bagdad. Have 300 yds when there are no crops in the field
