Before I had my cataract removed I used Crimson Trace laser grips on my carry gun. Couldn't see the sights well but I could see the red dot on the target.

Do you have a pic of the bolt face? I don't see any lube dripping off the BCG. How many rounds through the gun so far? Put the old extractor spring back in.

The link I posted above for the lower parts set is either DPMS or Remington after they bought DPMS. Aero's customer service doesn't seem to have the most accurate information about the large frame AR's.

Ya can't change a rifle into a pistol anyway. If it's a rifle from the start it's a rifle for all time unless you want to sbr it. I sold a AR12 I just didn't care for but I replaced it with a 12 ga semiauto bullpup. The bullpup handles so much better.
