Sorry incorrect information. 18" barrel on my ARC rifle. Sorry sometimes I forget which gun I'm talking about.

The factory 108 is averaging 2631 out of my 16" Wilson Combat barrel. Hornady's balastic app has the 6 ARC in it.

I found some BLC-2 that is supposed to work w/223&308. Haven't loaded and tested any yet. Still looking for Varget.

I used Balastic Advantage for my rebarrel. I wanted a shorter barrel though. 16". Any barrel designed for a DPMS pattern receiver will work.

Soft points tend to deform on the feed ramps. That will open your group up a bit. Glad your rifle is functioning well

Why do you want to use a plastic buffer tube in place of a metal one? The odds of 2 Wilson Combat lowers being out of spec are pretty slim.

Your video doesn't play. Pics or links to what you have would be a help. If the AR10 buffer tube doesn't fit the lowers then it sounds like the wc lowers are the problem. Wilson Combat make good parts but sometimes out of spec parts do get into the supply chain.

The shorter gas tube doesn't push the BCG as long because it looses contact w/the BCG sooner. Not as much push=lower velocity.

Chamber reamers have a service life. One that is about used up will have a little less headspace than the first few barrels. Bolts do not get machined to the exact same specs all the time.

They do make 22lr belt fed uppers for M16s -
Usually at about 100 yds. Here is t 10 shots @ 275 yds out of a 12" 308 pistol. Just resting the gun off my shooting bag on the jeeps hood.

If you have a bolt for each barrel that closes on the go and doesn't close on the no go you are good. These are hunting guns right? Not long range bench guns. -
