Shoot it first and see if it runs ok. No need to fix anything that doesn't need fixing. A good idea is to soak your BCG in Mobile One overnight. Till it's broke in run the BCG wet with lube. Welcome from KY.

My gas tube was like 11 1/8" custom made. Those were the sig barrels cdnn had. I used the entire Armalite carbine kit not just the spring and buffer. No I don't own any suppressors.

What caliber? If it is not a large frame a carbine spring and buffer in the sb4 tube should work. A 12 1/2" barrel should put the muzzle device at the end of the rail.

It could also be you used the WRONG bolt catch. Also your mag catch could be wrong. It's not always the magazines.

That UBR stock should fit a milspec buffer tube.

The fact that you want to suppress the rifle points towards the need for a recoil system that can handle extra gas.

I had the full size AR shotgun and just didn't like the way it handled. This one points well and recoil is very manageable. Stuck a little Sig Romeo on top. I'm going to Alabama wild pig shooting in a couple weeks. Think I'll take it along as well as an AR 308 and my Grendel.

JP stuff is for race guns and guns built to play shooting games. I replaced my PA10's barrel w/a 16" balastic advantage barrel because I wanted a shorter barrel. The factory barrel shot almost as good as the balastic advantage barrel I replaced it with. I have a rifle recoil system and stock on this one but the 308 pistol I built on Palmetto receivers has an Armalite carbine recoil system on it. Shoot what you have now and see if the gun runs before you change things around.

Works just fine. Didn't try buck shot or slugs but I ran 50 rounds of hi base 5's through it. No hickups at all. I've got 2 five round and 3 ten round magazines for it.

You have an AR-15 rifle length gas tube not a AR308 rifle length das tube. It might run it might not.

You sure stepped into that one. But on the bright side. Belt-fed can afford it.

45acp and 308 use the same shell holder in the reloading press. We put a 45case over the tail of my bolts and used another to hold the ejector in in a vise to change out ejectors.
