I have built 2 w/12" barrels. What do you need to know?

A muzzle brake in place of the flash hider will help w/the recoil.

Did you remove the ejectors and extractor from the bolt?

That buffer tube isn't 7" deep that's at least the main problem.

If this is the Gen II isn't that the shrunk down gun that no one has parts for???

Is the buffer tube really 7" inside depth? Doesn't look like it in your pic.

I haven't had any problems w/the O rings but I bet NAPPA will have something to work when I need more.

I have 2 of those. They work just fine. 1 on my Grendel pistol and 1 on a 308 pistol. Many rounds through the Grendel pistol. No problems.

Your recoil set up has to handle the mass of the BCG coming back and reloading the rifle. IT DOESN'T MATTER rifle,carbine, mid length as long as everything balances out. I use Armalite carbine recoil set up on 20" rifle and a 12.5" pistol and a 16" rifle. Look up the Waterboarding thread and answer those questions and we have a better chance of helping you get this gun running with more data.

The gas port on my Wilson creedmoor barrel is good. Gun runs and shoots great. Rifle recoil system. My barrel is only 16".
