I saw this picture and started thinking, can I do it better? It'd be one hellofa Appleseed plinker... And with a x1-4 it could easily be a DESTROYER of squeaks. I think a Lancer CF handguard would look a lot better. I already have the conversion kit. I just need the slab side upper and barrel. As silly as that stock looks, I am intrigued with how light it is.... It's not unreasonably priced either. I'm feeling a 3G trigger may be in order too! I hate the idea of spending all that money when my LGS has the new PWS 10/22's in stock.... For a lot cheaper!!

We do similar. We used to take all the parts from a MP5, an 870 and an Ar15, put them all in a box, and then race for assembly.

The best part about Walmart girls is that they have no feelings. It's ok to treat them however you want because you can't hurt their feelings. That's why you can treat them bad, eat all the food in their fridge, rack up a huge pay-per-view bill and then never call them again... THEY FEEL NOTHING. Heck, they expect nothing less. If they could feel, and you didn't treat them like that, they might even feel a little bit neglected.... Just a little bit though. It's already hard enough to imagine them with any feelings at all.

The quietest I ever heard (or didn't hear, lol) was an MP5-SD shooting subsonic 9mm. The fun there was the FA fire. I shoot subs in my 14.5" 300Blk (205gr Hornady) and its no louder than my .45 ACP pistols.

An Armalite AR-10A will cost under $2k and is made in the US. It'd more than suffice for a range and defense rifle. Colt and Armalite also make a 7.62x39 rifle. If you wanted a new caliber, but didn't want to break the bank on ammo cost. Does Colt make a .308 other than the CM901? I know that rifle is a lot more than $2k.... Although, it's damn we'll worth every penny (Damn you Pappy!!!)

He wanted the Phase5. It's almost identical to the TacOps, only smaller. He might have to change handles after all. The charging handle whacks the raised cheek portion of the PRS. Even the mighty TacOps may be too large, due to the thumb portion that sticks out the back. This may require a GasBuster or a BCM Gunfighter?????
