From what I know about the .460 Rowland, you can rechamber nearly any 45ACP to the .460, which is just a slightly longer case, but same COAL. Plus you can still shoot the .45ACP out of a .460 chamber.... But, I could be wrong. I haven't done the work, nor do I know anyone who has.

I think a 10mm conversion is necessary for my 41. I'm thinking something in the 6" realm. Perhaps ported... or even, dare I, thread and compensated.

I'll point out that military, especially the USMC, looks at mags as disposable gear. Often not recounted after a deployment.... meaning lots of mags coming home from the sand box.

That's one of my stops. I think the hang up was the magazine options. I met the designer, and he said he has several models that each used different magazines. He was leaning toward UMP mags, but UZI mags were an option too. He said no Glock mags, due to the angle required.

You guys have no idea HOW CLOSE this is... even the off road crash and calling it on the air!!! SWAT, K9, EOD, Investigations, Helo.... none of these compare. Being a Motor is the best job in the field. I've been on the bike for 10 years now and dread losing it one day.

It was my dream duty gun... still is. I just couldn't get FNH on our approved list. Too bad too. It likely would've saved me from ever buying a Glock. Now I'm stuck with my G41 MOS as a consolation.

I just grabbed an Elftman push button safety. I'm going to try it out in a few rifles to see how I like it.

Heya guys. FWIW... I have a SI Defense .308 with the BADASS 45* switch. Do exactly as 98 said. The little steel nub is very soft. I rubbed mine flat with a small hand file. Don't get over zealous about it. Once it's flat, it's install as usual. Warning. This is very expensive. After you shoot with it once, all your rifles will need 45* levers. Lol.
