  2. now that's live action, very nice. next up, bigt, (move the pics here! with new ones!) unforgiven planeflyer21
  3. I have a couple of thoughts that are economical and nice… http://www.opticsplanet.com/zeiss-3-9x40mm-conquest-rifle-scope-with-z-plex-reticle1.html http://www.opticsplanet.com/nikon-monarch-25-10x42-riflescopes.html http://www.opticsplanet.com/leupold-vari-x-i-3-9x40mm-rifle-scope-with-matte-black-finish-and-duplex-reticle.html
  4. thanks, it was a huge stress relief. And I believe they would call bullshit! I bet it is, Arizona is where my future inlaws are, and my hairy friend Tom-ass, but I would like to see it all eventually!
  5. Careful, after Drew, you're next on the list, and I'm hungry!
  6. Rene, we have a saying amongst us at work. If it's going to hang down, let it be brown! Get some sun on that thing brother. <lmao> I'm coming to both of you're places if you guys keep teasing with all of these photo's!!!!!! ;D
  7. Well besides question ten being split, and illegal, it seems the same as the ones I've been filling out. Oh yes, it is illegal, so sayith cromaboo!
  8. Nope, I love winter. But the Mrs. and I have been scoping out parcels of land when we are in St. David visiting her father.
  9. You will need to order a rifle tube, buffer and spring for the prs stock. Sounds like a nice build so far, any more problems, make sure you let us know, we'll try to help.
  10. Well , I'm not going anywhere soon. I have custody of my daughter from a previous marriage, and her mom and I share time, meaning I'm here for a while. Plus work and family. Shooting is fun, but its a hobby, nothing more.
  11. In Massachusetts, to get a firearms permit, you need to take a safety course, followed by interviews with your local police cheifs before you can be issued a license. Not sure if its the same anywhere else, but no license, no guns We can't even buy ammo without one. It is a picture Id with a hologram and finger print.
  12. thanks, that's not me though. that's my buddy, it was the first time we had a chance to shoot since he got his license, and it's been over a year.
  13. Awesome! Way to work out all the bugs!
  14. You can say that again, amen! The target shown is all fun, ten rd clip rapid fire. I was clover leafing groups while sighting in, and soon ill post a real accuracy style target pic, but like madhouse said, nothing like a range day! The group here is just under 2", I bet I can pull it under an inch. And this was prone in the grass, not in a bench on a rest, that's not my style. Bet she'd really shine like that!
  15. plenty of time spent at the range today, felt like i haven't been there in soooo looong. my larue is sighted in at 200 for a zero, ten shots here in rapid acquisition. I was off to the right at first but it dialed in three shots. I'll also post some links to my you tube channel of my buddy who came along, he just got his license and was hilarious on the larue. watch at like 2:14 when i said he hits the steel plate, he looks the wrong way, so deaf from racing! he was killing it though at 300yds! video quality is poor, from my phone. next was him on the 930 spx, first time shooting a shotgun.
  16. Maybe since you never mentioned what it was for he assumed serial numbers or legal markings of the like <dontknow>
  17. While I don't have that particular model, my eotech xps has performed flawless
  18. if you send him a pm, it will also end up in his email… in case he's not on the site often
  19. May have to be done, we can figure something out for august!
  20. I think that a trip is in order! Me to you or you down here! I want to try that mistress out….. with your permission. I'm in wmass, not to far to travel either way, uh… we can swap ladies? CQB .308 is a Pws mk214, precision rig is a Larue OBR. I have plenty of other fun toys too.
  21. yup, that's what i'm talking about. I am a big red dot fan, with folding buis, and i trust both when sighted in. Hopefully when folded, the buis won't loose their zero if the primary optic takes damage, and could be deployed when needed. Heather is a huge fan of the EoTech, but after having the xps-2 on my Pws for a while, I think I'm ready to go back to a T-1 aimpoint or the like. Personal preference.
  22. My thoughts exactly. I own Troy and Magpul sights, like them both although I like the machined Troy's a little more. Good to know that if I toss my rifle they will be ok. OH WAIT! They are back up sights! If these were primary sights wouldn't the A2 style post and carry handle rear be better for primary usage?
  23. i see it, you little devil! >:D my favorite magazine
  24. i get it now!
  25. my thinking exactly…… where did they all go?
