  1. I just don't wanna starting seeing a bunch of bull$hit from someone quoting that damn article, and talking about their .22LR CCW piece, saying it's just as effective as someone carrying a .45 ACP, Border Patrol .40, or a .460 S&W Mag, or a Howitzer... :ugone2far: EDIT - Had to go back and edit this one to make sure "bull$hit" showed up... <lmao>
  2. ^^^ I bought one of those things right away, man!
  3. If Tacticat pulled this $hit, I'd duct-tape him into a tight little ball. This cat wakes it's owner up every morning like this. Nobody believed them, so they set a camera out to record it. Thumper would get the Super Soaker for this $hit... :hunter: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8tXv-RTcI-M
  4. That won't happen. You'll get the Fulton barrel and build another rifle out of it. Mark my words. <thumbsup>
  5. If this was the guy's conclusion... ...then why did he title the article the way he did?

We'd make a great combo, brother! You take the frog legs, and I'll take the lesbians! <lmao>
  7. I have 1/2 dozen of the VooDoo cases - you'll like them. Pelican cases can't be beat for durability and sealing, and the Plano AW case is a close runner-up for it. The Plano might not be crush-proof, but it is damn tough and does seal really well. It doesn't have a pressure relief valve like the Pelican cases do, but it's got a screw that you turn out to release pressure. The Plano AW cases are very good cases, and less than 1/2 of what you'd pay for the Pelican versions.
  8. That is damn cool!
  9. That's good stuff, right there. Reminds me of a buddy's roofing job a few years ago.
  10. Check with scope cap manufacturers and see if you can find it listed. Search out the Butler Creek info and see if they have it listed. EDIT - Can't find any exact dimensions, but here's one mounted in a set of Burris Signature Zee rings, high-size. That at least gives you a known height to hit. Might want to go extra high if it's going onto a flat-top setup and not a bolt gun. https://www.snipercentral.com/bushnell4200.phtml
  11. That's an owner that doesn't give a $hit about his employees, right there.
  12. I've used ALOT of Aero Precision receivers for 5.56 builds. I'd have to count, but probably 10 of their sets. Never had an issue with any of them, and the machining is perfect.
  13. Only one out there that will function with 308 upper receivers. I run the MP BAD levers on several 5.56 rifles. If I had the need on a .308, I wouldn't hesitate to get this one.
  14. Don't overlook Rainier Arms.
  15. <lmao> Looks like Bear Grylls couldn't get to his knife fast enough...
  16. Matt!!! This story makes me happy!!! GOOD FOR YOU, BROTHER!!! HELL YEAH!!!
  17. Yes, they have the M5E1 upper, too - just not on the website yet, as a selectable item. Pure Badassery, right there... <thumbsup>

Jon, you gotta be careful asking people about things here, or these blood-thirsty bastards will make you buy one and give results! I'm just sayin'... <lmao>
  20. I wasn't saying that I'd toss them at toddlers, you rabid bastards. I'm saying that from first-hand accounts from someone here, that they're not effective, don't do anything, and you shouldn't expect much from them. (Kinda sounds like a Democrat, eh? <lmao>) My personal experience with them just doesn't count, with that expert testimony that someone else "tossed" in here awhile ago...
  21. I think this pretty much sealed LAR8s fate, right there... <lmao> Buy up and review, buddy!
  22. I've probably got most buttstocks that are out on the market - it all comes down to what kind of rifle you're building, and what you like.
  23. Those don't work - they barely affect toddlers. Or, so I've been told...
