  1. Phonecall tomorrow.
  2. $HIT. I just ordered 2 of those...
  3. ^^^^ <laughs> <lmao>
  4. The lightbulb just lit... Now I know... :hail: :hethan:
  5. DSG has the Mark 8 CQBSS for HALF PRICE. 1.1-8x24, that damn thing is NICE!
  6. ^^^ Has to be, because it's captured at the back.
  7. Just a product announcement, brother - my writeup will come when it turns into my short 300BLK. <thumbsup>
  8. HELL YEAH!!!! HEAD SHOT!!! <laughs> :hail: :happydrunks: :hethan:
  9. I'm sure it wasn't "engineered" for that. Good for you, though.
  10. We don't have every manufacturer here, so that will never happen. It shouldn't be in the "For Sale" section anyway, because that's reserved for members of this board, selling their own items. Good try, though. Yes, "we" do.
  11. I'd like to seek clarification on "The Rule." When someone asks "Have you guys tried xxx product?" we usually invoke "the rule." No one has tried it, you brought it up, so you need to buy it, try it, and report back. That part is simple, and examples are everywhere here. However, if new products are announced, does that invoke "The Rule?" I just let you guys know about two new products, and DNP pulled "The Rule" on me. I wasn't asking if anybody had used them, how they worked, how does it hold up... Just giving y'all more options. I fired up these things, right here - one I'm already planning on buying for a 300BLK build, the other, I'm not planing on buy yet. If, at all. However, just because I give y'all options, I don't think it should lump me into "the rule" for buying it. Feedback welcome. :fawkdance:
  12. My next (short) 300BLK will be made from this. Need to talk to Roger first, though. http://aeroprecisionusa.com/m4e1 The AR15 weapon system is an ever-evolving and modular platform. That weapon system has now been enhanced by Aero Precision into the new M4E1 platform. The M4E1 upper receiver is precision-machined to our specifications and features M4 feed ramps and handguard mounting platform. The rail mounting surface and barrel nut area provide a much stiffer system than a standard receiver, giving you more accuracy out of your rifle. Lightweight by design, stronger through superior engineering, the M4E1 delivers monolithic accuracy in a lightweight package. Features: Forged from 7075 T6 aluminum Precision machined to M4E1 specs M4 feedramps Matte black hard coat anodized Mil 8625 Type 3 Class 2 or Cerakote coating .250" takedown pin holes Laser engraved T-marks Accepts standard AR15/M16 components Handguard mounting platform is forged into the receiver Works with Aero Precision handguards but also fits most BAR-system handguards Comes assembled, with dust cover and forward assist installed Barrel nut and wrench are included M4E1 Upper Receiver It all begins with our all new state-of-the-art forged upper receiver. The M4E1 upper receiver is a one-piece design combining the rail's mounting surface with the upper itself. Lighter design, stronger product By machining the rail's mounting surface into the upper itself we have condensed the parts needed to mount a free-floated rail to a mere 8 screws. Since it is of the same forging as the upper not only is it a stronger system, but we are able to make even more lightening cuts to save weight and allow for more efficient cooling. Ease of rail and barrel installation Simply insert your barrel assembly into the M4E1 upper, tighten it using the provided barrel nut and wrench, slide your rail on and tighten the rail screws. Within minutes you have a modular, free-floated rail. Near seamless rail & upper alignment - This design removes the human element margin of error when it comes to not only installation, but also correct alignment and removing any gap between the upper and the rail. M4E1 Rails Choose a rail length and design that matches your shooting style. With how quickly rails can be changed out, we won't blame you if you get two. Plus, our Enhanced Rails are wide enough to fit your suppressor under them - perfect for a short barrel suppressor package. Enhanced Quad Rail For the traditional tactician that needs the rail real estate for their tools of trade, or for those that prefer the feel and thickness of a full size handguard, the Enhanced Quad Rail models are for you. Available in 7", 9", 12", 13", and 15" lengths. Enhanced Keymod Rail With the absence of full time picatinny rails you get a slimmer profile, significant weight savings, and the freedom of adding accessories how and where you need them. Available in 7", 9", 12", 13", and 15" lengths. Enhanced M-LOK Rail If you lean towards Magpul product you will most likely be switching at least one of your carbines over to their new M-LOK system. The Enhanced M-LOK Rail will be ready soon, shortly followed by a launch of accessories from Magpul. Available in 7", 9", 12", 13", and 15" lengths.
  13. Then, I'm fukked. There's more coming! I'd build a short .308 AR from this set - damn nice!

  15. Brother, if you do a variable mag optic, and end up scoping the thing, run a Leupold (whichever you choose). Contact their custom shop and they'll make marked turrets that match your round/projo weight/mv/drop over distance. <thumbsup>
  16. 7.62x39 might be similar to 300BLK, but 7.62x39 isn't like .308 WInchester. That matchup won't work out greatly. Tough call on what to put on the Leonidas. Gotta give that one some thought. Maybe a smaller 1-6x24, or some of the newer 1.5-8x24 scopes out there.
  17. Buddy at work runs that, and he likes it. He's a driver, making runs by himself all the time, so he always has that on him.
  18. These checkpoints do perform a real function, too - on Hwy 19 between Nogales and Tucson. Surprised this made it through the Nogales border station - that's one tough station. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2014/06/20/mexican-drug-cartel-tried-to-smuggle-marijuana-painted-to-look-like-fruit/?intcmp=latestnews
  19. Hire former military students that are attending MMI (Motorcycle Mechanic's Institute). Advertise the job as "High Risk Security." Provide the firearms that they'll need to defend the property in the event of an armed break-in. Let them know they can sleep on the job - just be there. If anything happens, and anyone breaks in, they are to make surethat no one steals anything. If those that are breaking in are armed, then they (by all means) should defend themselves. You'll have a ton of applications. Your place will be WELL defended. You'll never lose anything due to a break-in. All you have to do is inform them of the ROE, and they're good to go. <thumbsup>
  20. I probably just cost Shib a sale - Hell Hath NO Fury... like a pissed off Asian comin' after ya!!! <lmao>
  21. ^^^ <lmao> For the record, I AM NOT THE ONE... that went there...
  22. 98Z5V

    SIG P938

That should NOT be the primary concern for a CCW piece. I'm just sayin'...
  23. Do the DMR first, because you can adjust that one down, into the upper limits of the Match. You might not need the Match. I'm just sayin'...
  24. I wanna see you like that, with NO HELMET, on your motor!!!... <lmao> Scaring the FUK outta the civilians... <laughs> EDIT - It's gonna look JUST LIKE THIS!!! :hail: :hethan:
  25. That info that SS linked is the info I got from Clint Butler, before he was a member here. He IS HeavyBuffers.com. I cheated... <lmao>
