  1. I'm looking forward to the review, brother - this will be interesting. <thumbsup>
  2. Back to my original thought, that I never asked... Madhouse, why you up in Indiana, man?
  3. Brother, we need to get her and Rob to a T-Day festivity. Well, we need to get her down there - Rob can come along. She had a 450R and wasn't afraid to launch the hell out of it - to embarrass the boys... :hethan: She'd see them jumping somewhere, and go over and bust out something bigger. And ride away... <laughs> I've seen some pics... That needs to happen during a T-Day. How far is the drive from Sac-Town to ISDRA?...
  4. I thought Lilja barrels were final hand lapped? Breaking in a barrel is for barrels that haven't been final lapped - if they have been final lapped, there's nothing to break-in. The final lapping smoothes everything that you would have to smooth with a non-finished barrel, and the break-in process. Other thoughts?
  5. Nope, no Combat Diver for me. Got my ASS KICKED in Pre-Scuba (Pre-CDQC, or Pre-Combat Diver Qualification Course) in 1995, and didn't make it through. That's some tough $hit! The only course I ever failed to make it through. <dontknow> There was NO Sapper Tab, nor was there an SF Tab on my uniform, ever, nor did I post a pic with those on it. You should brush up on what you think you saw, or imagine what you think you saw, but that doesn't make it the case. The Flash is what goes on the beret, too, not the uniform jacket, so there was no flash in any pic of mine. Ranger Tab on uniform, above Special Forces unit patch - Ranger assigned to an SF unit. Happens routinely, with support guys. 2d Bn Scroll - that's "SSI-FWS" in Army terms - Shoulder Sleeve Insignia - Former Wartime Service. Or, "Combat Patch" in common language. I also have the SF unit patch as a combat patch, and 7th Infantry Division (Light) as a combat patch. Big deal. I'm also not a detective...
  6. Yeah, Signals Intelligence (the "98"), Senior SIGINT Sergeant (the "Z"), at the MOS Skill Level of E-8 or E-9 (the "5"), and Ranger Parachutist (the Victor SQI at the end). <thumbsup> Your Google-Fu is semi-strong. Never heard of any badge being called a pin. Only worked with a few Navy peeps over the years, though, never around Big Navy (my reference for what we call "Big Army" - the Conventional Army). Maybe that's the reason. <dontknow> Diver, huh? Not UDT or SEAL? You sure had alot of $hit to say about Rangers when I saw a fellow Ranger join this board. Since then, I don't give one squirt of piss about you. Just my opinion.
  7. THE LONGER YOU LEFT THEM IN THERE, THE MORE THEY SHRUNK!!! <laughs> <lmao>
  8. Hey Brother Drew! <lmao> I don't see anybody talking about Rock Climbing on this board. I was introduced to it around 1990, but didn't get into it like other hobbies/sports. I wish I did more of it, but not that crazy $hit Tom Cruise was doing in the Mission Impossible opening scenes. Keep that. At any rate, Drew, I found someone that will climb with you... <thumbsup> . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
  9. Al Gore's Global Warming is what's causing all this $hit in the first place.
  10. My thoughts also - I'm not a SEAL, not UDT, and it's not my business. "Joe off the street" has NO say in that stuff, unless they take the measures necessary to qualify themselves for inclusion in the Association.
  11. <lmao> <laughs> The man also has a point about making fun of people. <dontknow>
  12. He did, brother - pretty thoroughly. <thumbsup>
  13. The back of the trigger was rubbing against it - not a BADASS problem, a trigger problem. Battle Arms even went out of their way to make changes to their design due to fitment problems with the ATC-SR triggers, and fitment. First time I've heard of an issue between the BADASS and the G2S, though. Call Battle Arms Development. I'd bet they would send you a new center section, just on the possibility that you have one of the older center section (before design change). <thumbsup>
  14. The weather is getting ready to whoop yer a$s again, too. I'm so glad I moved outta there...
  15. Yeah, same here, brother. Especially the highlighted stuff below... That's brand new news to me... <dontknow> COMPLETELY different? Nothing in common from the old school/training course, and new one? NOTHING? "Pins" are different? Who the fuk calls them "pins" in the first place - it's a BADGE. Or Trident. Or Budweiser. It's not a fucking "pin," like the "pieces of flair" that someone wears on their uniform - those are "pins." <lmao> This revelation is shocking... UDT training/course DID NOT INCLUDE DIVING. Huh?... :ugone2far:
  16. <lmao> I COMPLETELY forgot about the shoulder thing that goes up!!!... <laughs> That rude foreign limey bastard judge that was on American Idol, brother!
  17. Mmmmm... Okay.
  18. I got stuck on those for quite awhile. I know he's been busting out fake SEALs for years, but I didn't know he was uploading all the vids on YT. <lmao> Nobody is going to be able to argue with him. If he busts them out, that's all there is to it. On the other side of that - if Don Shipley says it's quite okay for Jesse Ventura to say he's a SEAL - then that's all there is to it, and Jesse is a SEAL...
  19. Yep, well worth it. Only one - put the dimple on the barrel directly below the gas port in the barrel. No need for another one. Use the gasblock for a template, to put the dimple in the right spot. <thumbsup>
  20. I can't even fathom that you, as a Californian, are questioning the heckling of a POS California wanna-be Lawmaker that is supporting MORE California gun laws, on top of all the stupid California gun laws that are already on the books. Did you even read the original post, and gloss over the video? MD, I am disappoint.
  21. I ran some Herters steel case .223 Rem. Once. That $hit was so weak it wouldn't even cycle a perfectly functional rifle. I think I saw it cheap, grabbed a hundred rounds (in 20-rd boxes). When the rifle wouldn't get through a single box, I gave the rest of it away. If it was Herters you guys were shooting, I wouldn't doubt the results. I still suspect the gas port size - that's some tricky $hit on a real Dissipator, man. It's gotta be spot-on to run those guns all the time. I honestly think it's to small. Drill up in one-step increments (what a PITA with a pinned gas block). You gotta drill, get out and shoot and test, fail possibly, go home, drill again once more, get out and shoo.... Aaaah, you get it. I do have a range I found closer to my house. Road trip with suspected firearm, tools go to the range, work performed on-site... I'm just sayin'... <dontknow>
  22. SS, that is an awesome update, man! That's some good work, right there. <thumbsup>
  23. Pertinent info.
  24. Awesome! If you get a can for it - then you might want a short 308 AR down the road. Suppressed, the shorty would be the $hit! I'm just sayin'...
