Had a right inguinal hernia in Jan '99 - skiing issue, as a Ski Patroller, with a fat guy in my sled. It wasn't until Aug '99 that I got it fixed. I was down for 3 weeks, and couldn't get off the couch during the first week. Once I was down, that's where I stayed. I have no idea how women have c-sections, and head home like everything is normal. Eff that. I got doped up, and I swear the last thing I saw was the Doc standing over me like the guy standing over Mel Gibson in Braveheart, right before he yelled "FREEEEEEEEDOM!!!"

Yep. I'd bet on that belt. Didn't we replace that a couple years ago? Maybe that was on Levi's rig - I get confused with all the Camp Beer, and festivities... :ecs: Shepp, you'd LOVE it out there - even on a Farm Quad... <lmao>
-
Prob the Blaster, man - 2-stroke 200, and they'd SCOOT!
-
Same thing noticed on mine - but it eats recoil like nobody's business. They shoot SOOOOOO smooth.
-
But... :'( That's half the camp fun, right there. Just add beer, and it's on... :-[

With all this talk of trigger speed and rate of fire, I put the S3G out in the dirt pile today. 15 rds in 3.08 seconds, 17 rds in 3.39 seconds, misfire on #18 caused an 8 second gap... total was 29 rds in 18.77 seconds, with that 8 second gap in there, and another 3 second gap for an "ah $hit" issue. Most split times between shots were 0.14~0.16 seconds. Vid is on the way to going up, with shot timer info included, so I'll link that thing in here when it's done. I can't do a whole 30-rd mag straight through, right now. I'll practice on it, and see what I can get. I'll bet with some more practice, I can pull a 30-rounder in 6 or 7 seconds. That's not as good as a 30-caliber-clip in half a second, but I'll work on it, and make DeLeon proud. <lmao> The S3G is going to be faster than any of these other triggers. I'm just sayin'.

I love that 250R, brother. Love it. I burned up that one piston on the stock cylinder with lean jetting, but after going to that 310 setup and a FAT main jet, it's right where it needs to be. That thing is the perfect dune machine for me. Dan and I learned a valuable lesson this year in the sand, too - when you tell us not to clean your carb, just do it anyway... <lmao> Worked like a champ on Dusty's bike. We'll feed you a few beers, distract you with something, and steal your carb. In March, your carb is coming out. I'm just sayin'... <thumbsup>

Brother, she put some lead and copper out there for ya. What a great build. I'm getting vids up on YT right now, but it'll take awhile. She's a little gunslinger, but... she's starting to turn into a trigger thief! I'll explain later. I have some outtakes to upload, too... <lmao> On another note - I will re-zero my 300BLK for 150-grain projectiles. I'll never load anything else of a different weight. It's perfect. I loaded 20 rounds into some factory Remington 300 Blackout brass, and 20 rounds into my home-brewed cut-down 5.56 NATO cases. 16.5 grains of H110 with Hornady 150 grain FMJ boat tails. Perfect. At that load weight, I should be able to get over 400 loaded rounds per can of powder. EDIT - CCI 400 primers used; 5.56 NATO formed brass was trimmed to 1.363" and loaded to COAL of 2.105", based on Sierra's 300BLK load data for 150-grainers: http://sierrabullets.files.wordpress.com/2013/07/300-aac-blackout.pdf That Rainier Match barrel has a tight chamber, too. I hand-cycled a BUNCH before heading out to the dirt pile. I had a hard time getting rounds to seat and the bolt carrier closed. A BUNCH. Enough that I was questioning my die set, and the barrel. I finally said Eff It, and headed out to shoot the thing. It'll shoot in just fine, but it'll take a few hundred rounds to loosen up. Only one failure to close the bolt out there, and the NiB bolt carrier was only lightly oiled. It'll work itself out, but I'm going to call Rainier and ask them about the chamber dimensions for their Match barrel. Just wanna know what they say, and see if it's any different than the SAAMI spec chamber. <dontknow>

Goin' out to test fire it right now, brother - come on over!

Oh, Sweet Jesus, please don't even think about hunting with that damn thing. It'll try to break your wrist when you shoot it, but it'll certainly shatter your inner soul. Let that one be, as it's pure evil in handgun form. In rifle form, I can only think that it'll try to shatter your trachea with the concussion. That round is the devil... >:D

Now, this is how everything is turning out SO far. Waiting on the special stripped upper and lower, and still waiting on some Cerakote. Everything is here now except for that upper and lower, plus the Cerakote... Luckily, I have a few "extra" uppers and lowers" that can get us shooting tomorrow - so the whole thing went together. <dontknow> Spec list: Dawn's Ghost Gun: AP Ghost upper and lower: RA 14.5" stainless match 300BLK barrel: Spikes Tactical Dynacomp 308 Armalite .223 Carbine Gas Tube Geissele Super Gas Block MAGPUL STR Stock Kit Milspec - Foliage Green MAGPUL MOE Grip - AR15/M16 - Foliage Green MAGPUL MBUS Gen 2 Flip Up Sight Set - Black Lancer L5AWM 5.56mm 20rd Mag Translucent - Smoke Geissele Enhanced Combat Trigger - SSA-E Rainier Arms BCG - Nickel Boron Magpul ENhanced Trigger Guard FCW Guns H6 midlength handguard FCW Guns H6 midlength top picatinny rail You guys don't want to know the prices on that stuff. Brother!!! Right on the north side of Exit 203 is a damn good Mexican restaurant. Might be 1/4 mile off the highway, at the most, on the right-hand side. Directly across the street from it is a cheap hotel. Staying in that hotel was how I found the restaurant... <lmao>

"Hey, I asked the guy if I could do this..." <lmao>

Closest thing to that, that I can think of - Apex. http://www.apexhandguard.com/2360-ar10-308-dpms-15-0-ext-rifle-length-apex-gatorgrip-handguard/

You know what, brother? You beat Jon... <lmao> We need to find a way to kick him into high gear... <laughs>

Oh snap - this might be a factor in the sale. Time will tell. I talked about these guys right here a couple years ago(?). F&D Defense. Their 338 LM platform... http://www.fd-defense.com/index.php/home/fd-news EDIT - I think the 338 F&D Def gun was all drawings at the time - vaporware... EDIT 2 - Found something:

I had NO idea your dad had a pig problem. What can you do about that in Cali? I need to come over for a visit. I've got some "trip flares" that can help with the piggy problem. I'm just sayin'.

Rob, my brother, this has YOU written all over it. Aero Precision.

Same here. Used the air-dry last time. Switching to the bake-on this time.
-
YOU are a Point-N-BAM interface, brother. No offense, you just are. I'm just sayin'... <lmao>

Another welcome from AZ. I fled VA when I had the chance, but I was more DC-area. Getting back to AZ was a RELIEF! <lmao>
