  1. You'll love that 45, brother. It's nuts. I never expected a big, fat, slow 45 ACP round to hit anything accurately past 50 yards, but you can ring steel at 200 yards with a 16" barrel. Can't wait for your to come in, and hear a range report. When you receive it, post it up, with all the details. Love it. <thumbsup>

    Savage anyone?

^^^ I will say, on that one up there - the Mossberg that Rob posted. For a 16" 308 bolt gun, be glad it's got a threaded barrel. You will NEED a comp or brake on it. The GSR with that stupid factory flash hider would rattle your damn teeth when you shot it, just from the concussion/pressure wave. I did the Spike's Dynacomp, which works great. I'd like to try a Brakeout on it.
  3. See what's available on CNC Guns. Justin has some good stuff uploaded there, but I'm not positive of the pattern. I know he has a few SolidWorks programs as options for downloads.
  4. This was the teaser vid, before that one up there came out. I never saw the teaser... <lmao>
  5. Won't work, no matter how you slice it, brother. The 9mm Q, and 45 ACP-specific buffers are a little bit longer than the standard AR15 carbine buffer. That's to prevent the shorter 9mm and 45 bolt carrier overtravel. For a 308AR, you need something a little shorter than the standard AR15 stuff - not a little longer. <<< Armalite-specific parts not included in that reference.
  6. Lube inside the case neck, too? If not, that'll cause the sizer ball to stick like that.
  7. Fcuk, I want one of these.
  8. Ron, I don't get it, brother... The King Obama just fixed ObamaCare this morning, during a press conference. Just like that. Why can't you other fukkers in the DC area just get to work and make schit happen like he can. You need to focus, man. By now, it should almost be like something in the water" there. If you cared about the other people in the buildings you're working on, this would have a much different ending. :wtf: <outtahere> <outtahere> <laughs>
  9. He just is. Watch.
  10. That's a Blackhawk belt that I've got, brother. I'll get the pics up here today. <thumbsup>
  11. <lmao> I used to have a doorway rig that I'd ambush my cousin's with - set 'em up on their bedroom door. Smash the whole roll of paper ones and make them schit themselves... <laughs> I'm cryin' over here just remembering that... :hethan:

    Savage anyone?

Very, very happy with that one. Damn great bolt gun. <thumbsup>
  13. You have no idea how dangerous that creature is, even at that size. It's only acting like it can't stand very well, just to lure you closer. At that range, you should be armed with a LAW rocket. I'm just sayin'... <dontknow>
  14. Shibi, if you're a 5.56 guy, just make damn sure you separate your 223 Rem brass from your 5.56 NATO brass. Don't start loading them both the same. I run CCI 400 primers in my 223 Rem brass and CCI 41 primers in my 5.56 brass, in addition to the different powder charges. You'll have to develop a load that works well from your 5.56 guns for each of those types of brass. If you drop a good 223 Rem powder charge in a 5.56 NATO case, that 5.56 case WILL have a higher chamber pressure. I would have voted single stage, but I got into this thread too late...
  15. Once you guys start painting guns, you won't stop. It's a sickness. Believe me. My next project is to use a firearm finish on my Dodge bumpers. Seriously. <lmao>
  16. My pistol has a home on both the belt rig, and on the chest of a plate carrier. I really need to get the pics of both the plate carriers up here so you can see. Dedicated holster on the belt, so it stays right at waistband-level, and a dedicated holster on the chest rig front.
  17. I'd rather have a stripped plate carrier or chest rig, and add the pouches. Having that stuff sewn on locks you into that forever. If you add the pouches, you pick which ones, where they go, and you can move them anytime you want. My $0.02...
  18. Hey Rob - thanks for that second warning point, you asshead. :fawkdance: Abusive Behavior? Really? I'll show you some Abusive Behavior... :bat: <laughs>
  19. Went there in August, brother! Really! Almost-stepson wanted to hit that place pretty bad, so we took him over there. He spent the night trying to backflip into the foam pit. He was almost there, just sheerly from muscling it - he'd get 3/4 of the way around and land on his face...
  20. No pics or video unless you have press creds - this is where we need Drew. I think we need to be the "Press Representatives" of 308AR.com whilst at the show. That way, all the pics we can take, and nightly reporting. <thumbsup>
  21. Very positive. I want...
  22. Brother, Tactical Tailor still makes the stuff I have, and it's a forever guarantee on it. The Modular Assault Vest (MAV) page is right here. http://www.tacticaltailor.com/mav-modularassaultvests.aspx You can get it complete as a kit, with standard pouches, or just the bare vest - then add any particular pouches you might want/need. Hit their pouch page for all that stuff.
  23. Let me take you on a dirt ride. You'll cry inside of 15 minutes... <lmao>
  24. Yep, Guns & Ammo staff has NOT learned the lessons of RECOIL Magazine... You do NOT talk schit about the 2A in your magazine, and get away with it. Shakeup at Guns & Ammo after gun control column backfires By Joshua Rhett Miller Published November 09, 2013 The top editor of Guns & Ammo became the second employee of the venerable firearms magazine to lose his job after a column advocating gun control backfired, prompting rifle-toting readers to unload on the publication. In a statement posted Wednesday on the InterMedia Outdoors-owned magazine’s homepage, Jim Bequette apologized to “each and every reader” of the magazine for Dick Metcalf’s column that appeared in its December issue, which generated “unprecedented” controversy and left readers “hopping mad” in regards to the magazine’s commitment to the Second Amendment. “Let me be clear: Our commitment to the Second Amendment is unwavering,” Bequette wrote. “It has been so since the beginning. Historically, our tradition in supporting the Second Amendment has been unflinching. No strings attached.” "I understand what you believe in when it comes to gun rights, and I believe the same thing." - Jim Bequette, former editor of Guns & Ammo magazine But by publishing Metcalf’s column, Bequette said he was “untrue” to the magazine’s tradition. He reiterated that Metcalf’s views did not represent his or that of the magazine before later acknowledging he would step down as editor earlier than originally planned. "It is very clear to me that they don’t reflect the views of our readership either,” Bequette’s response continued. “ … I once again offer my personal apology. I understand what our valued readers want. I understand what you believe in when it comes to gun rights, and I believe the same thing.” Metcalf, meanwhile, a longtime writer on firearms and U.S. gun culture, saw his association with the magazine terminated. Attempts to reach him Friday at his home in Barry, Ill., were unsuccessful. In his column entitled “Let’s Talk Limits: Do certain firearm regulations really constitute infringement?,” Metcalf wrote that “way too many” gun owners believe that any regulation of the right to bear arms is an infringement prohibited by the Second Amendment. “The fact is, all constitutional rights are regulated, always have been, and need to be,” Metcalf wrote. “Freedom of speech is regulated. You cannot falsely and deliberating shout, ‘Fire!’ in a crowded theater. Freedom of religion is regulated. A church cannot practice human sacrifice. Freedom of assembly is regulated.” Metcalf continued: “The question is, when does regulation become infringement?” The firestorm that following was intense and swift, with some readers indicating they would immediately end their subscription to the magazine. “So a writer takes a moderate, rational stance and you fire him? Predictably gutless response from a magazine that sells fear,” one message posted on the magazine’s Twitter page read. Other posts on the Twitter feed claimed the “damage is done” despite Bequette’s apology and accused the magazine of betraying its core readers. At least one Twitter user also accused the magazine of backtracking when money “is on the line.”
  25. Alright, back to the redirect that happened before the de-rail, which was after another redirect of a topic hijack. Bastards. I can FLY, you assheads. Really. I can. Red Bull gives me wings. :yup: Ignore my kid, running the camera. I think he's retarded, and I know that's probably my fault. <dontknow> http://s105.photobucket.com/user/rgrhartley/media/SMOV0004.mp4.html
