Check this place out for ammo penetration tests - it's some fantastic information. <thumbsup> http://www.theboxotruth.com/

You're alright drop - no worries, man. It's nice to have you here - since we've already seen ya for awhile... <laughs>

That shotgun is just flatout awesome, ain't it? ;D <thumbsup>

^^^ I concur, on the Pmag spring. <thumbsup> I took apart a DPMS 19-rounder and a Pmag last night, for pics. That Pmag spring isn't going to function very well in the stock DPMS mag body. Also, the Pmag follower WILL require some surgery if you need to fit it into the DPMS mag body. I'll work on the pics, with notes in them, and try to get them up here tonight. There's a couple ribs along the sides of the Pmag follower that would need to be removed , to stuff it into the DPMS mag body, and the anti-tilt legs on the Pmag follower will certainly drop the DPMS 19-round capacity by 1 or 2 rounds. I'm pretty sure the same things would need to be done to fit the Pmag internals into Armalite mags - very similar, at least.

It's actually an honor to have you here - I'm glad you keep coming back. <thumbsup>

You're just not catching on. I'll explain this one more time for you: You can insult the members here just so many times - We typically don't do that here. If you continue this, you might not be here much longer. Is that clear? Don't come back with a rebuttal, and not even acknowledge what I first said - the smart thing to do is say "Hey guys, sorry I did that..."

Decided to skip the heat treating on this one and cryo treat it instead. Wanted to see the difference between "fire and ice." ;D A place called "300 Below" did the work. <thumbsup> http://www.300below.com/ In all seriousness, 300 Below is awesome - I've used those guys in the past on motorcycle drag race transmission gears. They do outstanding work, and I've never seen one of those trannies break. Carbine update - I got screwed by FedEx. Major parts were supposed to be delivered today, according to the original tracking info sent. Well, I get to work this morning, and look for the hopeful status of "On truck for delivery..." ;D Nope. :'( "Delivery Status Updated: New delivery date 23 December by end of day..." I was bummed... So, it'll be in here TOMORROW night sometime... Sorry guys... :(

I am SO unbelievably derelict in that order - I have no excuse. The good things is that I've increased the number of stripped lowers on hand (and planned), so I need even more now... <laughs> I'll get that order to you when the next paycheck hits. Should be right after New Year's. It'll be a decent order, and I pray that you've still got some pink Cerakoted levers left - I definitely need one of those little beauties. <thumbsup> ;D Hey, brother, I'm getting ready to drop $400 on a stripped lower. Prices are crazy, when it's something you tell yourself that you "need." Just do it, man. <lmao> -
You sound like an ass, the way you made that comment. We typically don't do that here, just so you know.

I'm flying up to Anchorage, AK, then catching some smaller bush-pilot flights up to Koyuk, AK. I'll be staying with my Native American Eskimo buddy, and we're going hunting. I'm killing a Reindeer for Christmas. Bah Humbug. <thumbsup>

Okay, and about the second part of my post?
-
Yeah, I know - again, right?... <lmao> I'm trying to control it, but the combination of my Severe AD/HD and Natural Immaturity kinda make for a heinous handicap to try to overcome... :o I swear, I'm working on it... <thumbsup> <laughs> You can reduce my pay, if necessary - I understand. <munch>
-
HAHA! You rock, man. <thumbsup> You didn't give it away, since I've mentioned it more than once recently. It just "became a reality" kinda quick-like. I'll need to do more to "finish" it, for good, but it's gonna be VERY cool when it's finally done. Let's see what others know, from recent posts, but either way it'll be posted on Thursday night, ready to shoot. ;D

I can set the nitrous up for you, if you'll be running a wet shot. I don't like the dry shot systems, but I can make some magic with the wet setups. ;D <thumbsup> This could get complicated. :o We completely wrecked this thread, too... <laughs>

You, obviously, are privy to insider information, which makes your assessment "not fair for guessing." You might be right, though... <dontknow> <laughs>

Got a customer email from Mark Hostetter, of Precision Firearms. Those are the guys what made the wood, which made my "Woody" possible. They need some assistance, and if anybody here knows a way to help out, Mark would be very greatly appreciative. You might even be able to score some of your own Wood this way... <thumbsup> Greeting to all our customers! Odd little email - We are looking for someone in Florida that can help us get in contact with a commercial wholesaler of Florida Citrus. We have a run to central Florida with a trailer and do not want to tow an empty trailer back. We are looking to purchase up to 8000 lbs of fruit. We have a large extended family and a lot of friends. :) We're especially looking for Honeybell's. We must pick-up the week between Christmas and New Year - 28 or 29 would be best. If you can help us please email to precars@aol.com or call 240-217-6875 ASAP. I remember some of you mentioned working in Citrus Groves. Commercial prices only - not gift prices. I would like to pay for fuel costs by selling the citrus to our family and friends for small margins. To the rest of you - Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Mark Hostetter Precision Firearms precars@aol.com www.precisionfirearms.com 240-217-6875 If anybody here can help out, that would just be cool. <thumbsup>

That barrel is made of Unobtanium. I had to sell my truck, Jeep, three morotcycles, and two quads just to buy that thing - but it handles like a CHAMP! Oh, and pimp the kid. He's cleaning AZ yards now, and I get 75%. <lmao> The Little Weed-Puller really made this happen for me. <dontknow> <laughs>

'Tis official. Parts in hand. "Temporarily" finished tomorrow, sometime. I say "temporarily," because I'll need to build more, but it'll be a shooter tomorrow. I'll explain, well, after tomorrow. ;D How it sits now: Use your imagination... <laughs>
-
That's pretty economical for two guns. <thumbsup> ;D
-
That's about 1,230 Hp to the tires, after drivetrain parasitic loss... :o Can I drive it?! <laughs>
-
This is the result of the repeal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell. In this case, I like it. <thumbsup>

Should we hack the board to set an internal, self-launching Drew-Alarm? We could set it to 5 minutes before you want to get up... <lmao>
-
Andreas, did you drill/tap/set screw that rear takedown detent - the "AR-15 takedown detent mod?" That's the fix for running a MIAD or MOE grip on a .308 AR. <thumbsup>
-
<lmao> I WANT to keep this thing NA. No power adders. If I MUST spring for custom pistons, I'll have them dished enough for the addition of a cent. blower, though. <dontknow> I need this fat bastard running on 87, and power adders will screw me. I just hope I can keep 87 on the 390 without messing with the combustion chambers. :-[

Pretty crazy, Roger - My ARF billet lower is the next one up from this one, by serial. <thumbsup> poop, I was almost famous... ;D
