  1. Awesome pic, brother. <thumbsup>
  2. Bump for Veteran's Day Sale details... <thumbsup>
  3. Yep, it could happen. PRI for example, the gas tube hole is drilled straight through, all the way. You could get the tube in it from either side, and roll-pin it in place, but it's not going to work if it's not correct. I'll grab a pic of my PRI. I don't know how many others are drilled all the way through. <thumbsup> Looking at the front of my gas tube, out of the end of the PRI lo-pro block. You could put this on backwards, and pin it. How many others out there are drilled all the way through?...
  4. Very good looking stick, Timing. <thumbsup>
  5. Gas block on backwards? I just re-read everything, and it's not even ejecting casings. BCG is moving 1/2 to 3/4" when you fire - recoil from firing could do that, possibly. Sounds like there's no gas going through it, which is why I ask about the gas block. More pics would help, too.
  6. Someone sell you some RRA upper parts when you weren't looking?... <dontknow>
  7. Same thing on a 20" and a 16". Chances are slim, man, just sayin'. Barrel extension being too long on two completely different barrels, or improperly drilled, and probably not from the same batch, either - not very likely, seriously. Could happen, but I'd look at something else first. Problem with the upper, maybe? <dontknow>
  8. That was fast, man! Cool Tacti-Cat in the background. <thumbsup>
  9. Weird gas tube, man. That's about all I can think of - can it and pick up another one. What's in the pics could definitely be what's causing your problem. Worth a try, since the gas tubes are less than $15. I'd start there first.
  10. No problem, man. <thumbsup>
  11. Yes. As much as a forward assist does on a .308 carrier (only catches the shoulder, at the step-up in diameter), the Fulton BCG does that. Running a Fulton in my DPMS upper. <thumbsup>
  12. Anybody with a carbine-gas piston 5.56 gun should probably check Ballistic Reload today - YHM carbine quadrail for pistons, 44% off. Total is $95. Screamin' deal. <thumbsup>
  13. ...as he's posting from his phone, on the road to North Central CT... <lmao>
  14. Robo, this wood set was $149, from Precision Firearms - some of the set I looked at (from both DPMS and RRA) have the same basic shape of the components, but they look rough, like they just came out of a bandsaw. This set is completely finished, smoothed and sanded, and coated in stockmaker's clear coat. It's better than I hoped, honestly. <thumbsup> Starting to take shape - lower assembled, thanks to a package received from DSG Arms this morning. Assembled with the KNS Precision "turned lower parts kit," which is the safety detent, both takedown detents, buffer retainer, bolt catch detent, and trigger/hammer pins (not used in this build). All springs, mag release hardware, both roll pins, and bolt catch are Armalite parts, as well as the Armalite rifle receiver extension. Trigger is the Geissele SSA-E, and the trigger guard is the MagPul aluminum trigger guard. Buffer and buffer spring were already on hand. The safety lever is a temp, standard one, until I get another order out to Roger for some more BADASS levers. The trigger is a work of art. :o Just waiting on some RRA parts to show up, but I still haven't purchases the stripped upper receiver, the BCG, or the NM carry handle yet.
  15. I knew it, when I saw that reply... <laughs> <thumbsup>
  16. Info on the rail, itself: Made by Yankee Hill, for Fulton Armory. Height of rail is a direct match up for Fulton stripped uppers. Fulton Armory does not carry "spare parts" for these rails. Yankee Hill will not sell you parts for these rails, but instead will refer you back to Fulton Armory for help. Crazy circle... Moral of this story - don't break any of the rail parts. <thumbsup> <laughs>
  17. That's awesome - and you ain't kidding. Room to spare. I've got some Black Hills .308 Win Match, loaded with Nosler 180gr AccuBonds, - those are so close, I wouldn't even try to semi load them into the gun.
  18. $17.77 per. That's a good price. <thumbsup>
  19. That's a stretch, brother, at the very best. MilSurp is about all you'll find at that kinda price. Finding it for $10 a box of 20 is a thing of the past, for commercial ammo anymore. Some of the better deals you find, as far as price goes will be somewhere between $14~$16 a box of twenty, on sale - unless you're buying bulk (500~1,000 rounds at a time). Hell, it's not uncommon to find the high quality ammo for $2 a round, when you're buying by the 20 rd box.
  20. Welcome aboard, man - that coyote 20" HBAR is a damn good gun. <thumbsup>
  21. "Defrauding, for less than $20,000"... ???
  22. They're okay on parts, but on anything they have to assemble, it takes quite awhile. They've got a section on their website about Wait Times, but that's not accurate (much longer tthan stated). I've got parts on order from them right now, so I'll try to pay attention to how long that takes. It's stated to "ship in 7~10 business days, if the parts are in stock," so we'll see how that goes. For some reason, last time I ordered parts from them, it seemed a little faster, but still not what I'd call fast, by any stretch of the imagination.
  23. <thumbsup> <lmao> <laughs> There's more than $600 in stuff on the way right now, so it'll start shaping up nicely, and soon. I'll keep the updates coming. Once things start to come together, I'll get it out in the terrain and get some better pics. ;D
