THESE RIGHT HERE!!! THESE are the kinds of gun-nerds that like to PM and argue with me about my own builds!.. If they weren't so fucking stupid, it would be funny!...
-
I work for what I build - I don't get any "specials." The only "specials" that I get are the SPEDs that show up years later, asking me a question about some other guy's gun that's posted in my thread. There's a few reasons for that - I explain my guns and parts and performance, in detail, in my threads. Smart people that stumble upon them years later don't have any questions to ask me - it's all spelled out in the thread, everything. Secondly - the stupid people are only looking at pictures, and not reading details - then arguing with me about MY BUILD, but sending me a pic of some other guy's gun - that was in my build thread... About the ONLY time that I'll post one of my gun pics in someone's build thread is when they're asking something like "What DOES that 13.5" barrel look like with a 12" rail on it?!!!?" Then, I post a pic of that gun - AND it's details. Other than that, you won't see me bragging up a build in someone's build thread - for the reason's I've directly mentioned. I guarantee you that I'll have some shiithead asking me years from now why my 12.5" barrel is so long, in a PM. And I'll get a pic of your gun. And, I'll tell him he's DIRECTLY a fucking idiot for not reading the details. And then I'll get reported to the Mods and Admins, because I'm such a jerk, and there's no reason they should have such a mean person as a member of their message board, and their WHOLE BOARD should be cancelled because they condone this from their members. It's already happened, in the past. For Realz. I just tell the Mods and Admins to re-direct them right back to my inbox, and I'll settle it. I'm just gonna tell him that is was: Stop being lazy. Making a new thread ain't that damn hard.

Not a good idea, so start your own. There's a simple reason for this, and it's IDIOTS AND FUKTARDS. Years from now, I'll have some dipdunk dumb fuk asking me questions about where I got the rail for my 12.5" 6 ARC build, and I'll tell him where I got it. Then he'll tell me that I don't know what I'm talking about, because that's not the rail that I have on my gun. I'll proceed to tell him that he's totally fucking stupid, and I know what I built my gun out of, and he'll then insult me, telling me I'm a dickhead, and send me a pic of... What? YOUR RAIL. This will all go down in PMs, of course, like it always does... Make your own build thread. I'm not answering questions about your stuff, years from now. I've already been doing it for years, just for these reasons. It's not that hard to make your own thread. Then, you get to answer questions and comments about YOUR BUILD - in your own thread. And not clutter up mine with your information. Take the leap, make the plunge. Start your own topic on your own gun. Thanks.

OKay, I'm with you, brother - I'll make sure he doesn't find out!... Pssssh,.,, -
I hit him up yesterday, with a loving text... ❤️

No, man! For real, it was different for about 1/2 hour~ Next time, I'm screen-shotting this shiit...

DirtBike Tommy just picked up a Dillon 550, and he's just CRANKING out 9mm this weekend. I fully prepped 876 5.56 cases today on a single-stage, and I'm about all in... I either need to spring for a turret press, or a progressive, sometime soon...

Just changed back, for me. Weird. I detected a disturbance in the Force, and it was seen as well as felt. The board was weird for about 15~20 minutes...
-
The board just changed. WTF?! Is this some shiit to make cell-phone access more easy? It's bullshiit...

Making .300BLK out of good 5.56 brass is a time-consuming project - to do it right. I'm just sayin'.
-
Indeed, we are less without him. I've spoken to him many times, in phonecalls, asking questions about parts and operations of the platform. I've received an education, a few minutes at a time, throughout the years. In the .308AR platform, he is a pioneer, and figured out how to make National Match rifles that won in National Match competitions - year after year. In reference to Service Match rifle construction, performance, and accuracy, he is at the very top of the list of people to listen to, when he speaks. His passing is very sad news, for this community. God Speed, Mr. McKee.

Built in, there's a hole in the bottom of it, inner chamber, and there's already a bolt in it when shipped - that's the port in the bottom of it to pass a wired thermometer through. That thought this thing out, brother.

UNFOLD IT ALREADY!!! GAWD DAYMIT!!!

Making more baby steps. Complete gun now, minus optic. Tossed a mil-spec trigger in, that I've been working on for years. It's probably the most polished, tweaked mil-spec trigger in existence. I don't hate it, but it's not a 2.5lb/4.5lb 2-stage. But it works. Picked up a B5 Systems Bravo stock and the B5 P23 grip for it, in coyote. I've had a love affair with B5 Systems since they won the military contract over LMT for the SOPMOD stock. LMT came up with it, under .mil contract, but LMT wanted $200 for it. B5 re-won that contract, for a stock for $100. I've had that B5 SOPMOD stock on the original Mk12 Mod 0 since about 2010. B5 rocks. The B5 Bravo stock offers the same cheekweld as the SOPMOD, but without the storage (and additional pieces, and weight). Badass stock. Same with the P23 grip - same forward grip angle of a MagPul MOE K2.I dig it. Put this same grip on the 12.5" 6 ARC. It's only awaiting a scope and mount, and it's a shooter. Probably gonna do the Athlon 1~4 scope, mil-dot. Here's where it's at now. It's so close, I think I need to finish it up, grab ammo, and get it running for the Spring Shoot.

There's way more to the story than that, brother. When he got on that helocopter, after learning that all his buddies were in the shiit - he was only armed with a knife. He didn't take a rifle onto that helicopter. He was nominated for an upgrade to the CMOH, but the time limit expired. That law was changed, then they couldn't find a living witness to corroborate the actions. They finally found an RTO that was there, told the story in a 22-page testimony, and that finally met the criteria for his CMOH. President Reagan gave it to him in 1981. The guy was beyond-human. Just like the Doc that you posted.

Forgot - pierced the loins 9 times each, down through - and stuffed garlic down each piercing...

Alright, this Orion Cooker is pretty badass. I broke it in last Monday with 2 racks of ribs, and it did great. I tested it tonight with potatoes and onions, two 3.5lb beef loins, and carrots. Gave the loins the 1hr salt cure, then rubbed them heavy. PLaced them in the cooker fat-side up, so it melted down through the meat. Sliced the potatoes in half, and the onion chopped into 1/8ths - potatoes and onion went into the drip pan. One beef loin 1st rack, one 2nd rack, carrots top rack. Used hickory chips between the drip pan and the inner cylinder, filled with charcoal, came back 2 hrs later and pulled it all off. I could have gone 1:50 instead of 2 - lesson learned. Meat would have been a little more on the rarer side at 1:50. It's all a learning curve with this thing. We're gonna FEAST at the Spring Shoot, that's for certain.

Groups are great, but you've got some pretty heavy primer cratering going on. Ejector smears are visible - they'd be alot worse if that was a square-faced ejector, so be glad that it's a round one. You're still way up there on the load, looking at that brass. Doesn't mean anything, but if it was mine, I'd go in 0.2gr increments, and back that thing down to the next accuracy node, and stay there. What's you're COL on those? P.S I hate Federal brass, unless it's Gold Medal Match brass. All other (standard) Fed brass work-hardens pretty quick.

That's a truly selfless story that ranks up there with Roy Benavidez. Unreal human character.

Whoa~! WTF?! Clint McKee passed?!!?
