  1. You just have to commit to lube...
  2. You didn't break it, per say. However, the new lube will make sure that it never, ever receives any wear. Ever. Again. Ever.
  3. I saw the PRI upper rail side on there - but you have the PRI rail on EVERYTHING!...
  4. Yeah, Matt, I think you "stress-tested" it...
  5. They actually get to it faster!... Smell travels faster when they're inside out! I'ma put the .338 Fed on a few of them...
  6. Oh!!! Matt's NICKEL BORON BCG!!! This one, right here! Dude, you can't even tell that thing is NiB...
  7. That's a pretty serious billet upper - spill the beans on that, dude! EDIT - and lower, too - I see that ambi bolt release! MEGA!!!
  8. Other coyote carcasses. Leave 'em where you drop them, and they'll come around and eat each other.
  9. Exactly - the .45 will be a 200-yard gun - YES, it can accurately hit 200-yard steel. Shocking. Primary Arms red dot on that bitch.
  10. FUk me...
  11. If you want to ship it, and if your state laws state that it has to go to a real FFL, we can pimp out my local pusher for the duties. Otherwise, if your state laws let it go to an individual... You know I'm game.
  12. Hit Midwest Industries, OP. Check them FIRST, and see if you like anything they have.
  13. You, Matt, will of course have as much of it for free, that you can handle...
  14. I have a test coming up for your rifle... Can attached, of course. Are you bringing it this coming trip? We need to shoot the hell out of it until it stops cycling. Again. To cut to the chase - I'm working with a lube manufacturer. This new stuff blows everything else out of the water. There will be a brief test of it on Thursday. No more "run your .308AR DRIPPING WET..." None of that nonsense, anymore.
  15. You bastard... You're doing this WAY FASTER than it took me...
  16. Hell yes!!!
  17. So, you got the billet lower AND the Oly upper on order?! YOU HOOKER!!!
  18. Yep.
  19. Cut the 12x12" plywood sides, and put the 4x4" section 2" in from one edge, and 3" in from another edge. Cover the 4x4 with cheap cut-off carpet from the big-box stores. That gives you shooting heights of 10", 9", 7", and 6", not counting the thickness of the carpet. The 4x4" widths are 15" with one that's 10", for small people and small rifles.
  20. Shiit! You clean rifles?...
  21. I use home-made shiit as a rest, most of the time. Some 3/4" plywood cut into 12" squares, some 4x4" wood, and carpet. Set it up right, and you can have multiple heights for different rifle setups, for whatever works for that rifle. Just rotate it.
  22. ^^^ This. A lead sled is awesome for determining the mechanical accuracy of a rifle or optic setup, or for determining handload comparison accuracy. Otherwise,it's a pain in the ass. I have one also, and it doesn't get used often - except for the two reasons listed above.
  23. I was no-shiit just gonna say this - thanks for getting there before I did. Does Adams Arms make a .308 system? I wasn't aware that anyone was making an add-on gas system, like the AR15s. Dunno... Personal choices being what they are, I'd do the Ruger over the POF, any day of the week.
  24. Every firearms has a reason, and purpose. I wouldn't be reaching for a .308AR as my primary weapon for a home invasion, or anything close-in. JMHO.
