Even based on what i've seen posted - from M4C - I would never, ever hesitate to send my own rifles off to ADCO for work. No hesitation at all.

Buying rifle/gun parts on Fleabay will only lead to us diagnosing a bunch of crap later, when those parts fail or don't work at all. Please get your parts from a reputable firearms retailer or manufacturer. It saves all of us headaches.

Considering that... If the mag release button was of the standard dimensions, and the mag release itself was on the standard dimensions... Then something isn't right with that lower.

F marked front sight bases were developed by Colt, for the M4A1 Carbine sight radius. Carbine gas port location on a 14.5" 5.56 barrel. You don't need the F marked front sight base on a rifle with an 18" barrel, considering it's probably not a carbine gas system, and it's not a 5.56 rifle.

Are you pushing the mag release button in with a punch or other device, to fully thread the button it? You have to do that. If you just try to thread the button onto the end of the threaded portion by hand, and stop there (when you hit the right side of the receiver), you'll never get it threaded on where it needs to be - you need to push that button in, and spin the mag release on the left side of the lower, in order to thread that thing in there...

If you run the AR10 barrel, make sure you run the AR10 bolt for it. There is a difference between the AR10 barrel extensions and the DMPS barrel extensions, as well as the bolts mating to those barrel extensions.

He's not talking about any DMPS-based parts in the least. DPMS-based parts aren't even relevant to what he was conveying. Nothing "outdated" about his information at all, man.
