By the way - this isn't a DPMS problem, and should probably be moved from this section, into a more appropriate section - You don't have a DPMS lower receiver, at all. The "Building a .308 AR" section comes to mind. http://forum.308ar.com/forum/47-building-a-308ar/

This is probably the issue. If that receiver extension threading wasn't cut EXACTLY on the money, then your receiver extension isn't in the lower - in line with the bore of the upper. Replace the lower with something that a factory puts out. If that fixes your problem, then you know exactly where the problem is.

Eff the add-on optic on a daily carry gun, unless you're hunting terrorists and it's your backup house-clearing firearm. You don't need that $hit, until you progress to 3-Gun Master at the local competitions. Good set of tritium night sights will have you set. Because they work in daylight, and they work excellently at night. Make sure the rear sight has a square edge, and not that tapered $hit. Examples... Bad: Good!

Gotta build spacers to take up the length of the buffer weight you're pulling out, and insert that spacer in place of the weight. Don't forget to account for the thickness of the pad that's between the buffer weights, on either end, when cutting the length of the spacer. ^^^ If you don't do that, your buffer will rip itself apart inside the receiver extension... I had to turn a rifle buffer into a carbine-weighted buffer for my 300BLK rifle, to get it to cycle properly. NEMO 16" nitrided barrel, carbine gas system.

Even based on what i've seen posted - from M4C - I would never, ever hesitate to send my own rifles off to ADCO for work. No hesitation at all.
