The 50 is back in action!

Well got 'er back together today. New SWFA fixed 20x on top and figured while we were at it to mill the base for a little more distance. Shaved it down to 30moa angle. With my precision bore sighting skills( on a sled in my living room looking out attic vent down the road bout a hundred yards) it looks like a minimum of a 300 yard zero with the turret all the way in. Should give me most of the 125ish moa of elevation adjustment.

Well it was a beautiful day out. Took 2 shots to dial in the scope. 16"high at 100. Made 2"group with m33 ball fire forming loads. Very happy with that being the bullet doesn't stabilize till 200-300. Punched some numbers into shooter app, dialed in the turret, pulled the trigger and banged the 800yd steel, center mass first shot. The swfa ss looks great out to 1500.gonna start reachin out Saturday with the 750 amax and 800 borerider.
