EngrBob Posted March 13, 2016 Report Posted March 13, 2016 Unfortunately there is no difference between the National Socialists (NAZIs) and the current Democrat Party. Once they have our guns they can then impose their world view. It has happened before.

They all went to the bottom of a 300' deep lake. <bummedout>
blue109 Posted March 13, 2016 Report Posted March 13, 2016 As I said before.....strange how many boating accidents we have here in the AZ desert!
MikedaddyH Posted March 13, 2016 Report Posted March 13, 2016 As I said before.....strange how many boating accidents we have here in the AZ desert! The two happiest days in a boat owner life is the day he buys it and the day he gets rid of it !
blue109 Posted March 13, 2016 Report Posted March 13, 2016 (edited) I said that exact quote to my bro in law when he randomly came home with a sweet looking speed boat last year and everyone looked at me like i was an A-hole. It hasn't moved since he bought it. Trailor tires flat, no tags, cushions all crappy since the cover shredded and blew away. Disclaimer: I really am an A-hole....but still... MikedaddyH Posted March 13, 2016 Report Posted March 13, 2016 I said that to my brother-in-law the day after he got rid of his boat.

unforgiven Posted March 20, 2016 Report Posted March 20, 2016 So here's my 2 mags.Wife and girlfriend driving around see pontoon's and assorted parts lying in some yard. They think we'll get them and the guys can just buid a pontoon boat.Parts lied around for about a year then it was to the scrap yard. Next driving with the wife I see a Jon boat 12' for $100.00.Figure since we were fishing at the time not a bad deal.It sat under the porch for about 2 mos..Bring it out get the bro and bungee cord it to the top of my Blazer at the time.Driving 35 into a stiff headwind I hear a "boink" and see this boat up on end like a big metal kite.Slowed down so as not to wedge it under the car we pick it off the stree and jam it inside the car.Get to the lake had to go down a small hill to get it in the water. On the way back with fishing tackel,I trip and fall/roll down hill into the boat.At least my forehead did which began to leak pretty good. That was my head not the boat.So I sez fuk this lets pop some tops....after some time grab the damn boat throw it back IN the Blazer,go home and under the porch it sat for about a year. Then I sold it to a pipefitter on the job.Never bungee cord a boat to the top of ones car/truck.So if I want to go boating I just go to the Marina and rent one and done.Never said I was bright.
mrmackc Posted March 20, 2016 Report Posted March 20, 2016 My don't do list : don't buy a fixerupper horse trailer or piper cub. There is a couple of sad stories, but too painful to tell especially in my current delicate situation. BTY thanks for all the words of careing and encouragement.
