survivalshop Posted July 7, 2016 Author Report Posted July 7, 2016 What ever happened to cooperating with LE , even a Convicted Felon would still be alive , but of course as a convicted Felon & in possession of a firearm & was already reported to have threatened someone with a gun , he thought he could skate if he resisted , but that won't matter to BLM ,no one is allowed to protect themselves against a Black person . I'm not PC, so screw all of them.

There has been zero evidence showing these as race based shootings, the only way they could be remotely given federal jurisdiction. This country has been fundamentally changed. and he was right!

The Minnesota shooting is just bad ! Barney Fife is done , just drive him to the prison no need for a investigation... Trial is not necessary the public has already convicted him !
Sisco Posted July 8, 2016 Report Posted July 8, 2016 The Minnesota one is bad. Seems to be a mash up of bad communication, bad training, and fear on everyones part. Something has to give. We can't put our LEOs in situations like this. This guy was law abiding and well liked and respected by the community. It was a tragic screw up and the people involved are going to have their lives changed permanently. A lot of things have to change. Our LEOs put their lives on the line, and it has gotten so bad they don't know if a routine traffic stop will be it. Of such fear are mistakes made. Would he be alive if he had not mentioned he was carrying? Who knows. It is just bad and tragic for everyone involved.

In Iowa we are instructed not to mention you are carrying when pulled over unless the officer specifically asks if you have a weapon. I thought that was a little odd at first but there may be some logic to it. A hard look at factual statistics show that LEO's have reason to be nervous when interacting with young black males. "Training " them to ignore facts is not training but brainwashing. Second guessing them on every hard decision is easy but not helpful to them or the communities they protect.

Arizona law does not mandate that you volunteer you have any type of weapon but, if they ask and you do not answer truthfully that you do have a weapon, then you may be charged with "misconduct with weapons".
