jtallen83 Posted October 15, 2016 Report Posted October 15, 2016 Interesting sales tactic; https://www.freedommunitions.com/gear/accessories/gifts/freedom-united-kit-oct2016-red.html?utm_source=eblast&utm_medium=email&utm_content=specialty-ammo&utm_campaign=specialty-ammo&c3ch=Email&c3nid=eblast_20161015
survivalshop Posted October 15, 2016 Report Posted October 15, 2016 I didn't see a caliber mentioned .
jtallen83 Posted October 15, 2016 Author Report Posted October 15, 2016 "This month's theme is Red October. If you're a combloc firearms fan, you'll want to get in on this one." "NOTE: This month's kit includes ammo. State restrictions apply." Those are the only hints I see. I may try one when the hints look like something I could use.
Armed Eye Doc Posted October 15, 2016 Report Posted October 15, 2016 The logical assumption would be 7.62X39, but you would they would state that since it includes ammo.
Rsquared Posted October 15, 2016 Report Posted October 15, 2016 Yeah. No caliber, no number of rounds = no interest from me.
Sisco Posted October 15, 2016 Report Posted October 15, 2016 Betting ammo, a couple of cheap AK magazines, a magazine loader and a front sight adjustment tool.
ARTrooper Posted October 15, 2016 Report Posted October 15, 2016 Walmart ammo that was in the recent floods from hurricane Matthew.
GRA Posted October 16, 2016 Report Posted October 16, 2016 The "combloc" designation is cool but you don't know if they've thrown in parts for the AK or AR in 7.62x39. They also don't tell you if the ammo is steel or brass cased. I don't have an AK but I do have an AR in 7.62x39 and I'm trying to stick with brass casing. I'm sure that keeping it somewhat of a mystery box is part of the sales pitch.
