Of course I'm curious... workboot,hiking boots? Nope it turns out he's boot shopping with his girlfriend because she needs another pair of boots and feels this would be good 'together' time.Yet for some reason it seems when he needs to go and buy something(tools,car parts,guy stuff) she doesn't feel those activities are 'couples together time'

But that would be a conversation for another thread. I have a good story something like that. Getting ready to come home from the Afghaniland deployment. Finally got access to a phone. It was an open-ended deployment, we had no idea how long we were gonna be gone. Just, "End Date is when you complete the task at hand..." It was anywhere from 60 t0 120 days, projected. Well, we were done in 33 days, and coming back. Got phone-con, and tell her when I'll be landing, she's gonna pick me up at the compound, once pallets are secured, and we're cut loose. She says, "What do you want me to wear?" Hehehe... Oh, I'm tossing this line into the water, hard cast... "Baby, pearl ear rings, black lace lingerie, thigh-high hose, with the little straps tht hold those things up. Then, toss on a trench coat over it all... show up just like that..." FML, she did it... It was 30 minutes drive from the compound to her house, and we didn't even get down Transmission Line Road, 5 minutes away, and it was Game ON!!!
