Scott Clearman Posted October 8, 2019 Report Posted October 8, 2019 Hello to all. I found this forum while searching for drawings for a receiver. I'm Scott, working as a Fire Investigator. I've been into building my own things for years, from guns and knives to suppressors, all the way to houses. I've been a shooter and hunter all my life. What brought me here was my latest project, building a 308 AR from an 80% receiver. I've got a small shop at the house where I do woodworking and metalworking. I have a lathe and a mill, and just got my latest toy in, a 50watt fiber laser engraver. I'm not new to building guns. I"ve built a few custom Mausers for my sons, put together a couple AR15's from parts, and have even completed a couple 80% AR15 receivers. It appears that this forum is the go to place for all things 308AR. I look forward to being here.
