Talk about getting ahead of the 'rule, way to go Doc

Hopefully the legal limbo we're dealing up here clears up so I can look at getting something similar 'cause it looks like fun.

I thought about trying to trap someone with Tom's rule reversal.  But I knew @DNP would get caught and he probably can't own one of these in Cali. :lmao:

That .17 looks sweet, though.

Pretty sure that’s Cali legal…but I’m going to pass on this one. The only other AR calibers I would add to the stable are .338LM (cough cough @Robocop1051 ) or .45.  I don’t want too many to worry about. Let us know how it works out though. You know Tom needs one at some point.

I was literally just looking at how cheap that upper was - and I was thinking about the coyotes in your yard -literally, at your back door, now.  I know Dusty feeds those things - but eventually, you'll need to get rid of them.  Especially, with the size of that Chicken Palace, that you've built. That thing is the Trump-Chicken-Mahal...

I think if you don't want one of these, for whatever reason - I'll just buy one for you.  It's just an upper.  I can send you this thing in the mail, brother.

I'm just sayin'...

I think both you cocksuckers just tricked me into "the Rule" just by talking shiit - and somehow got me to buy one for someone else.  You both SUCK...  but one of these will be headed to Dirk after my next paycheck...  You can bet your asses on that one...

I’ll have my .45 in the desert, it’s dialed in now, the boys had fun with it last month

I didn't even know this existed until @shooterrex bought his 450.

After a trip back to BCA, the upper shoots and functions great.  The buffer would get stuck in the receiver extension when I cycled it by hand and with the first round I fired.  I had to separate the upper and lower to get it to release. It had plenty of lube.

When it came back, I put it back on the same lower and it did the same thing.  So I used a different lower and it works flawlessly.

The other lower works great with the usual upper (AR57).  The 17HMR has a longer buffer, 4.655 inches, with no weight in it.  My guess is that the receiver extension on the other lower must be slightly bent that is causing the longer buffer to bind.

I shot 20 rounds through it for a function check without issue.  The last 2 were the only ones I shot at a target other than water lillie's.  This was from about 25 yards with a borrowed and non-zeroed scope.

Which one did you get, Ron - I'm looking at the heavy barrel Nitride one...   I don't even know it that's necessary on something like this.  Open to suggestions, like the lightweight barrel.

I'ma big fan of barrels that aren't 20", so I'll probably do that 16" nitrided one...

I wish they did that thing in an 18" barrel.  Fat kid + cupcake...   all over with.  :laffs:

I like it - I still want one of these things.  Love me some weird calibers.   :laffs:

Half right anyways. You love you some weird.

Weird women, weird friends, weird motorcycle and ATV manufacturers. Weird.
