WOW 40lbs! I'm thinking that you'll be able to just pull the trigger on this one without even having to brace it against your shoulder. at that weight it probably won't move much under recoil (what recoil ?) And you can forget about hollywood using it, I doubt most of the actors would be up to the task of weilding a 40lb gun for very long. If you've got a match quality gun under that housing I'm thinking your going to be getting some good groups  with something as stable as that.

We are using a DPMS LR-308 as the .308 test bed.  Once we can confirm what we need, we will then start pulling duty on a Frakengun underneath and slowly piece together some world class guts.

DPMS has a .338 version we have been eyeballing lately....  ;D

This would be the 338 Federal , I have seen one but didn't get to molest it with my dirty little fingers !

Its all about cost factors in the R&D stage.

I see the finished unit sporting higher spectrum parts like MA-TEN receivers, custom barrel, etc. etc.

We've got a special stash of budget that is strictly for outfitting the final unit.  :loser:

If anyone gets a free moment to head over to our website. I'm trying out a new design and just looking for any feedback you might have.  I can't ever seem to settle on a layout or content.

Drives me nuts...  :hunter:

Wife just left me a voice mail...

Do I sacrifice my one hour lunch to run home and tear into the package, or wait till after work and enjoy a nice hot wing lunch?

<dontknow>

Ok posted pics in the OP with the side mount setup. What do you guys think? Lower center of gravity is better right?
