98Z5V
Brace yourselves, men. I have the stockpile. Bring Ammo. Head to the SouthWest. Link up. On familiar terrain that is defensible.

On familiar terrain that is defensible. Of course that would be the end goal. But it would be a little difficult for us east coasters though because of the distance from here to there. We'd probably have to gather at an "SDTF" East rally point first. Assess, then move out. But then there's the whole friends/family contingent. It's not easy for everybody just to pull up stakes and roll out at any given moment. Then the whole logistics of moving a quasi mid to large group of people in a column in any specific direction. Where it was fun creating and writing the multiple number of "308 AR Teams" stories. They were completely fictitious stories. They were always based on the group of us acting/moving as a unit, whether offensively or defensively. Where in reality, in an Oh $hit scenario, all of us would have others that we would have to take care of/gather up before any major change could happen. Like I said, logistics are a bitch. Not impossible or insurmountable, but just difficult. Then.......there's fuel needed for all of the vehicles. HA

(None of us has what @Belt Fed has though.) I have a remote location, family, and friends that are local that I can rely on to help provide security. Would it be as strong as a SDTF team defense? Not in the least. But it is reachable in a tank of gas for all of us. Edited Sunday at 03:56 PM by Armed Eye Doc
Sisco
It is already happening. And the U.S. government, the Chinese, and ALL the social media companies are enabling it in their lust for more information about each of us. But to paraphrase T.S. Elliot, it won’t happen with a bang, but with a whimper. They won’t need to pull a Sky Net nuclear attack, they will neutralize us one by one, quietly and quickly. Most of us have some shooting skills. What we would lack is the military skills of patrol and defense. The only ones in my potential group in the military were in the Air Force. God help us there. 98Z5V
Covered. Get the ones that run .22 RamSet blanks. Way cheaper, and you get the blanks at hardware stores nationwide. No. 26 forge sentry alarm mines.

I can cover that, too, no problem. We'll go over it all. If it's only the out-of-towners that are interested in this, then we might actually have a 5-day training event, staying through to Monday this time, instead of breaking camp on Sunday, and getting it done. Cunuckgaucho
The Pandora's box has been opened, while they may delay things, the technology has been proven. It's not like OpenAI is the only one out there doing this.
