98Z5V
I'm going to pull it all apart and measure the runout on that mainshaft. I'm curious to see how far it's out. I'll rebuild that broken one with heavy duty internal stuff - six-pinion planetary set from a NP241 case, wide chain and gears, slip yoke eliminator kit with a larger diameter mainshaft, and a real yoke on the output. I'll save it as a spare for the Jeep. <thumbsup>
DNP
That sucks ! Any idea why it came apart ?... It was somewhere in the first post. Something like "blah, blah blah DODGE blah blah" Just kidding Tom! You know we love you, even with your addiction to Suzuki and Mopar! I will probably be relying on that truck to pull me out in a couple weeks...glad to see you're getting her patched up in time.

Magwa
I sold my 1988 Ford F250 7.3 5 years ago it had 388,000 on it the guy is a friend of mine is still driving it it now has 456,000 and still starts in 20 degree weather without being plugged in, my 95 7.3 has 223,000 on it and i have only replaced the injectors and the only trucks i have ever towed were chevy's and dodges, dodge has a great motor but the rest of the truck is well pretty cheap chevy's they are all cheap...... ok now you have a target to throw rocks at ...
