One thing that I have with it is a reproduction of a book with pictures of the Remington Rand plant with Rosy the gun maker I'll see if I can get a pic up of the women that made the guns of freedom.Man thats a beautiful 1903. I need to start growing my WWII collection.
seasprite Posted March 9, 2013 Report Posted March 9, 2013 Here you go 98 may I present you the Rand girls. This is a small sample of the pics in this book. It was used as a recruiting tool to show women back then that they could work with machinery to produce what I think is one of the best if not thee best WWII 1911a1 pistols.

gsmopar Posted March 13, 2013 Report Posted March 13, 2013 JP Sauer 1913. Given to my dad, and then me from a family friend; supposedly "taken off a German Officer" during WWII. The previous owner etched his SSN multiple places on the gun so unfortunately I had to polish and re-blue. The pic above is before I blued it. 32 ACP. http://www.cruffler.com/historic-october00.html
