As my kin are from Kentucky, most of my experience is with bourbon.

 

I've experimented enough with Scots whiskey to completely understand why single malt is deemed best (difference between waking up drunk or with a pounding hangover).

the bar i go to durning deer season is owned by a retired chicago LEO, hes alwayse got a bottle of GOOOOD irish wiskey last was gentleman somthing. like telamardew also, but to much whiskey makes me bat poop crazy.

i have only tried the 12 yr. my brother-in-law got me to try scotch and i started with jonny walker and worked through chivas to the glen. it is very pricey though.

ammo, to much whiskey and i get a lil nutty, atleast with to much ammo only others think im nutty......

back to whiskey, has anyone done the jack daniels tour?? i did it 7-8 years ago man its a must see for anyone, i couldnt believe how small it was reminded me of a large dairy farm.

LOL no, but im from wisconsin and thats about the closest thing i could compare it too. my motorcycle group went down there and did a stunt show in lynchberg for a big ralley they have, small town great people. it was the first time i had ever been to the south and i was i love.
