So, now, we're doing proper load development for a .338 Lapua Magnum bolt gun. I'm taking it out Monday morning, and sending a bunch of 225gr Hornady SSTs that I already have loaded up - the first year's load for Ron. After that first year, we went to Hornady 285 ELD-Ms, and a generic load. Monday is ladders on the 285s, 86.5, 87, 87.5, 88, and 88.5. Looking for pressure, and maybe a group size difference, big or huge or smaller. Something to start with. But, that's for the 285s. This morning, I snatched 8lbs of Accurate MagPro, and a box of (100) Hornady 300gr A-Tips. THAT is where the load development will happen... I'll start a separate thread after Monday morning's outing... Ohhhhhhhhhhh Yeah!

GorillaTactics2089
It looks it. I’m used to running Badger Ord and Spuhr on all my stuff. Are the adjustments for the big knob smooth or tactile clicks?

The angle adjustment is a locking knob you unlock the mount then adjust with the lower knob, each tactical click is 5 MOA or Mills i have the mount in MOA it is available in both. after dialing in how many MOA you want you relock the knob and fine adjust with your scope the wear and tear saved on your scope is huge.it returns to zero every time to within 1 thousandths it is repeatable and the rings only fit one way you can not swap the back ring for the front etc it is truly a work of art.......
