shibiwan Posted December 7, 2014 Report Posted December 7, 2014 (edited) If you have cycling issues, you can always load a little longer COAL and up the powder charge (0.3-1gr) for a little more propellant to drive the gas system. The usual warnings apply - watch for pressure signs. Edited December 7, 2014 by shibiwan
sketch Posted December 7, 2014 Report Posted December 7, 2014 Good to know I ran factory 220 gn last week and had some cycling issues still in break in mode though.
shibiwan Posted December 7, 2014 Report Posted December 7, 2014 Good to know I ran factory 220 gn last week and had some cycling issues still in break in mode though. Lots of variables to check. Start with lightening the buffer. When you can get it to reliably eat subs while shooting unsuppressed, it will eat anything else you throw at it.
98Z5V Posted December 8, 2014 Report Posted December 8, 2014 Picked up 4 more lbs of RL15 today, and scored one hell of a deal on another Nikon scope. <thumbsup>

survivalshop Posted January 7, 2015 Report Posted January 7, 2015 I took se brass I tumbled in that and tumbled it in ss and I was surmised how dirty it still was Using the wet system with the SS media ?
Cali_Ed Posted January 7, 2015 Report Posted January 7, 2015 I said it all jacked up, to early. So I tumbled the brass first in the walnut media. Later I wet tumbled in ss media. When I was pouring the water out, it was incredibly dirty. So as I thought I tumbled and cleaned it with walnut I was wrong. The ss media did the trick
edgecrusher Posted January 7, 2015 Report Posted January 7, 2015 This is definitely the poor grammar thread.
survivalshop Posted January 8, 2015 Report Posted January 8, 2015 The water will always be dirty when wet tumbling with SS & dish soap/Lemishine . I clean with dry media lightly , then size & de-prime & then they go to the wet SS .
392heminut Posted January 8, 2015 Report Posted January 8, 2015 Yeah mind works well but kinda loud Nd I don't have concrete to whack it on I use my desk leaves dents lol and the end of my bed frame Ed, go down to the local home improvement store and get a 4"X8"X16" solid cinderblock and use that to whack on. Should make less noise and save your desk too!
