survivalshop Posted January 15, 2014 Report Posted January 15, 2014 Tango down , Magpul , A2 & I have one on my 20" 308AR , target type , I think Serria or some thing like that
Robocop1051 Posted January 15, 2014 Report Posted January 15, 2014 Magpul MIAD on my .308, and MOE+ on everything else.
Toolndie7 Posted January 15, 2014 Report Posted January 15, 2014 IMG_1286.jpgTango down , Magpul , A2 & I have one on my 20" 308AR , target type , I think Serria or some thing like that How do you like that sierra grip on the far right? Its suppose to be extra wide at the top to draw your trigger finger back onto the trigger. Ive been poking around looking for a grip.
shibiwan Posted January 15, 2014 Report Posted January 15, 2014 The new MOE+ grip looks like the old MOE grip but is now overmolded in rubber. I got one when I put the beater AR15 through the FDE makeover and was pleasantly surprised at how it felt when I received it.
blue109 Posted January 15, 2014 Report Posted January 15, 2014 MAID on my A2. MOE+ on everything else.
Cali_Ed Posted January 15, 2014 Author Report Posted January 15, 2014 So there is a wedge we have to use?
shibiwan Posted January 15, 2014 Report Posted January 15, 2014 (edited) No wedge needed on my CMMG L/R. Probably the same for the "old" DPMS. Edited January 15, 2014 by shibiwan
blue109 Posted January 15, 2014 Report Posted January 15, 2014 If you mean the part that hugs the rear of the rcvr? There is a small gap. They made that wedge to fill it if it bothers you, but it still functions fine without it. Never bothered me.
392heminut Posted January 16, 2014 Report Posted January 16, 2014 (edited) Magpul MIAD on my competition AR-15 and MOE's on everything else. Yeah, I'm a Magpul whore! :hail: <lmao> Edited January 16, 2014 by 392heminut
D.R.D. Posted January 16, 2014 Report Posted January 16, 2014 I like the Bravo Company Mod 1 or 3 and Umbrella Corp Grip 23. All three are more vertical, less angled, and easier on the wrist bio-mechanically (especially offhand, at the ready, or in CQ with a compressed stock)

Its beautiful to shoot with , fits me perfectly , but I can see some may not like it for its largeness , kinda right hand only , well sort of. Edited January 16, 2014 by survivalshop
Cali_Ed Posted January 16, 2014 Author Report Posted January 16, 2014 Went with the miad+ just orderd it I'll be sure to post a pic in the what did you get in the mail today thread when it gets here :) Thanks for all your posts
Matt.Cross Posted January 16, 2014 Report Posted January 16, 2014 CAA G27 Inexpensive and completely underappreciated. Has been the ultimate rival to my MIAD so far.
D.R.D. Posted January 16, 2014 Report Posted January 16, 2014 Here is a great comparison chart: http://blogs.militarytimes.com/gearscout/2012/07/27/21-ar-grips-compared/
