Got a full day again tomorrow men - but I'll get some early morning pics of this thing and get it in here.  Early.  <thumbsup>

You guys know I just did the radiator in the Dodge - the next day the damn waterpump was leaking...  dripping off the bottom of the balancer.  I should have just bought the waterpump when I picked up the radiator, and done all that shits that day.  I knew better...  :ugone2far:

If I had more air-dry Cerakote - and time - I'd coat that waterpump and give you guys pics of it on the engine afterwards...  <lmao>

Here here I blew a head gasket a few weeks ago my thoughts are do just the gasket or the whole motor? Always bad timing when it comes to things you want to finish and things that have to be done! The moon has been bright the last few nights mixed with your wepon light it might be a cool effect ?

What engine?  If it's a V8, doesn't matter what brand, you'll need intake manifold gaskets as well.  If it's a Dodge 5.2 or 5.9 Magnum, I have a serious recommendation for you, since you'll be in that far.   If it's a Ford V6, it's a pain in the Arsehole.  If it's a Jeep 4.0L engine, that thing is a piece of cake.  What you're in for depends on what you're messing with, brother.  Some can be a serious nightmare, when done in the driveway.

Exhaust manifold gasket can be reused, just coat both sides of it with some Permatex Copper Spray.  You may not even have an exhaust manifold gasket in there - some 4.0Ls didn't.  Don't remove the intake manifold from the head - just strip most of the $hit off the intake manifold first, and lift the bare intake manifold with the head to get the old gasket out, new gasket in - the head is fucking HEAVY for what it is, warning you now.  Have a buddy there for this one.  Been down this road...  and it's not bad.  With a buddy.

Love that copper spray stuff. Used that stuff when splitting the individual layers of those metal head gaskets to increase compression.

^^^  That can be a big jump in power, right there, all across the entire rev range.  3-layer head gasket on a DRZ-S gives you 11.3:1 compression.  Single-layer head gasket from the DRZ-kicker or the DRZ-E bike gives you 12.2:1 compression.  3-layer was 0.027" thick, and the single was 0.010" thick.  Drop 0.017", gain almost a point of compression, on a 90mm bore and 62.6mm stroke.  Easy power.  Numbers jumped a little higher with a 94mm bore, because the combustion chamber size was the same.

I've written papers about this $hit - I'll post them in another section.

That's that damn Burnt Bronze.  I'm gonna darken that up before I shoot the XD with it.  It's getting a little bit of Patriot Brown added to it.

That batt cap on the EOTech is getting stripped, as well as the Surefire.  They'll get recoated.  I'm not down with the bling of the Burnt Bronze at all...
