At the drag strip

Went with my father today, test and tune, to work out some fueling issues, new suspension, and other small stuff.

Final pass was 9:10@146.6

Also watched a wicked top sportsman class dragster make passes shutting it off at the 1000' mark and still running 6:46@167

Also a Busa turbo running 7:70@189!

he was really moving there....massive wheel stand must mean massive power under the hood! I was trying to see what the duramax ran but the video ends too soon....im guessing 13 something? just curious because I run my diesel also, best of 12.17@110

May be our last year with the car, he's eyeing something new and has decided to list it. 42k. The news project involves a " car to be named later", a 409, and a 100mm turbo... On the street.

Btw, if anyone has serious interest in the car pm me, it hasn't been listed yet, but will be soon

He's going to look at a 69' camaro this week. I like turbo set ups too. He's got a 409 built that's hit the dyno (at the crank #'s) at 811 hp and 659 lb ft, and he's going to use that as the engine. So if my math is there, the 100mm turbo should get it to 1500 hp at the wheels with a small boost of 10lbs or so.
