I love the 590. I got the barrel threaded for chokes, so that I could use it for everything. Its my home defense/ clay pigeon/ rabbit/ squirrel/ bird/ turkey/ deer (if I have to legally)/ bear (again, if i have to legally) gun. I love it! Ill get a picture up with a bayonet when I get a chance to get a good one :-) if i blab anymore, I will derail my own thread! Edited November 30, 2014 by beachmaster

I thought about having them lengthen my forcing cone also. But I found a guy closer to me in Louisville, and he was definitely the cheapest person I found, if memory serves, and he did a great job. beachmaster Posted December 5, 2014 Author Report Posted December 5, 2014 I believe you can purchase clamp on bayonet lugs for about anything, but getting the ring to fit over something might be more tricky. My wife doesn't like it when I leave my trench gun in the corner with a bayonet without a sheath... I personally dont understand. Lol I am glad that you are pleased with your bayonet! I am confident that the US has never issued a better bayonet... unless you could the super rare M7 bayonet that had like a 20" blade... but those goes for nearly a thousand bucks now because they are so rare. Very drool worthy.
