  2. Welcome to our forum @Jarrad Markel . For those who did not read the article above, Jarrod is the new CEO of Full30.com. I wish you continued success with your platform. There have been quite a few improvements over the last several months. This explains why they have been occurring.
  3. The premium for metals is one of the things that show how manipulated the market for them is. An end buyer can never get metals at spot price. Spot plus premium is closer to what the non-manipulated price would be. I saw some at about $14/oz when spot was $12. I did not act quickly enough before they ran out. I had bought some silver at about $28 on the way down as well. I traded it at a loss for stripped lowers before the last election. I figured I would either make my money back or have guns to build. I have new ARs and am happy with that outcome.
  4. @98Z5V, don't you or @MikedaddyH live close enough to ask in person?
  5. Awesome 👍

  8. Rule 64b bites me. I knew I should have bought silver when it was below $12/oz. This is today's action.
  9. Nobody ever said it has to be a picture that you want to see.

  11. The difference between a milspec and commercial buffer tube (receiver extension is the proper term) is the external diameter and only affects the stock that you can put on it. The internal diameter should be the same with each. See the diagrams in @jtallen83 post above. The length of receiver extension can vary in a 308AR. A proper AR15 receiver extension should be 7 inches deep internally. DPMS 308ARs utilized the AR15 receiver extension of 7 inches. Armalite AR10 receiver extensions are longer at 7 5/8 internal depth. Either receiver extension can be used regardless of whether you have a DPMS or Armalite rifle. You just need to be sure to use the proper buffer and buffer spring.
