It's only been a year and a half but I got a call and email today that I have been selected to get a 1911 from the CMP. I had to change my FFL because my usual dealer has died. My first thought would be to make sure it is well lubed and shoot it some more before making any big changes. 30 rounds is not enough to break it in enough to determine if there is a problem. It looks like he has a rifle buffer system Most places don't screw up rifle buffer systems. It wouldn't hurt to weigh the buffer though.

Goose Island announced their annual bourbon county stout releases. Somehow they make it down to my podunk town in limited supply. I have never had one I didn’t enjoy. They do not include a barrel nut because some people will put it on a receiver other than AP. They can work with Armalite pattern receivers if you choose the correct barrel nut. According to what I read on their site, that is an additional $20 when purchased from Aero. If you have an M5E1, you do not need the barrel nut.

I think it is the common misspelling of the word "sale" which is what you hope to find when buying more parts.
