  1. Very nice scenery through there. Looks like you had a great return trip...except losing things at the end.
  2. Yep, she wants to spend some of your OT money. She deserves it though.
  3. Did someone call me?
  4. I've been trying to get him to join the forum for a year. I did tell him you have a stout reload recipe for 45-70.
  5. Although I still feel bad for hitting it.
  6. I will dispute that. Your thumb bled for days.
  7. Thanks for sharing that shepp! I didn't know it existed.
  8. Enjoy it. You've got fingers on both arms.
  9. Testify, brother Tom.
  10. There is much truth in this statement that most people outside of the military do not understand. To not honor current and former soldiers is a travesty on any day. So, thank you to all who have served or are currently serving.
  11. This is for 98Z5V. I hope it doesn't trigger any flashbacks.
  12. Marty is and his wife are good people. He stuck around even after I smashed the crap out of his thumb. He and I are mutual enablers when we go to a gun show. We try to get the other to spend their money. Sometimes one of us will succeed.
  13. You had to bring up the thumb on your first post. I got his thumb pretty good with a hammer while he was holding a board I was hitting. It took the nail and some skin off and killed a few nerve endings in the process.
  14. I agree. Just because someone is committed to a mental facility, does not mean they are a psychopath. I can see this being expanded to include people who go to a psychiatrist, then those on antidepressants, then those who went to grief counselors, etc... This, like so many other well-meaning idea, opens the door for future abuses.
  15. It was better to see in person. That thing is cool as shits.
  16. I was helping a buddy get started on the site and noticed that there is a link to the forum from the main site but not a link from the forum pages to the main 308ar.com site. Is this on purpose, an oversight, or not really an issue? The other possibility is that I overlooked it.
  17. Nice elk Magwa. You can still do the same work you always could. You just work smarter to do it.
  18. There have been many 80% receiver builds that have been completed on the board. The main thing to consider is to get a matching upper to reduce fit/function issues. So getting one from the lower manufacturer is highly recommended.
  19. Congratulations for your daughter and her team. As JT said, you have raised a fine young lady. The country needs more of those.

  22. Great work on dialing in your rifle. You've got a great shooter there. Have a great time grocery shopping with it.
  23. I carry so often now I don't feel it. There are many churches that ban ccw. There are others that encourage it and have members that are designated to carry.
  24. The murderer was supposedly stopped by a good guy with a gun. https://news.grabien.com/story-texas-dept-public-safety-armed-citizen-engaged-killer-ending
  25. https://www.ksat.com/news/shooting-sutherland-springs-church-gunfire-mass-shooting-airlife Another 30 are injured. Not too many detailsabout the shooter.
