  1. I hope everyone had a great Christmas.
  2. Don't know if this is what Robo has, but this is what came up with a search. https://pantheonarms.com
  3. Or pressure cookers after Boston.
  4. Just make sure you stay out of the compartment with that chicken in it.
  5. My AR57 was the second AR after my LAR-8. It is fun and easy to shoot, just not as cheap to shoot as I would prefer. PSA frequently has AE ammo for $16 and FN ammo for $18.
  6. Tacticat will be pleased.
  7. There are many great choices for an AR308 that will not break your budget.
  8. The weather knows that you have retired.
  9. Welcome from Texas.
  10. It only works if your rifle is zeroed at 100 yards and you are shooting at the prescribed distance. If your prism is designed for 300 yards and you need to shoot at 500 yards, you still have to adjust your hold. So, I agree that this will have limited applications.
  11. Here is a picture I took looking partly through a prism. If you notice the painting on the wall, it is split by the edge of the prism. The part of the image through the prism is above the part outside the prism. The prism moves light passing through it in a specific direction based on where the thick part is located. It does not move the crosshairs at all. What it does is force you to do is a holdover of a specific amount to recenter your crosshairs.
  12. Welcome from Texas.
  13. Thanks for sharing that.
  14. I agree except that stores empty of water and bread in the south if we hear Bing Crosby sing White Christmas.
  15. This would be for @planeflyer21 if he were still around.
  16. I posted that
  17. I heard a similar joke that I thought it was going to be. This guy was out of town on a business trip and met a prostitute with a glass eye. He arranged for her services with no restrictions. After they had done the usual ways, he asked if he do her in the eye socket. She agreed and they both thought it was the best they had ever had. When he was leaving, he said he wanted to see her again when he got back to town. She said that would be great and she'd keep an eye out for him.
  18. I also have 2 of these and like them.
  19. Welcome from Texas. What's your credit card number and bank account info? It will make things much easier if we have that up front.
  20. Welcome to the forum from Texas. I will answer what I can. PSA Gen2 seems to be a good rifle for the money from the reports on here. For the distances you will be shooting, even out to 500 yards+, you will be well served with a 16" barrel. There is almost no benefit to a longer barrel. It will also help your desire to cut the weight. A gas gun should recoil less than your bolt gun, so you should not need a limb saver. I have not used the scope you have, but 8x at no more than 500 yards should be plenty of magnification. I can't speak to the ballistic difference between the 308 and 6.5. You should get more experienced answers in a little bit.
  21. Welcome to the forum from Texas. Thank you for your service.
  22. I'm not the master enabler that you are wash. I aspire to your level of enabling.
