  1. I've just noticed that Moriarti sells the AR50 upper as well. That is one that is on my list of just-because-I-can guns to build. I just don't have anywhere to shoot it to it's potential.
  2. Those damn Texans started fixing things and taking care of each other instead of waiting for the government. Don't they know there are bribes that need to be paid off?
  3. The hard part will relief bills like these is that you get "relief" for the spotted owl habitat in Oregon and the dung beetle study needs funding, etc... Those are made up but you get the point. A lot of the relief money goes to someone's pet project nowhere close to where the need is. But yes, money and manpower is needed to get things back close to normal.
  4. Ive got the lower and it comes with the BCG. I've got a few mags coming and I've got about 1000 rounds of crap ammo for my SKS. The only thing I have left is the optic. I think I'll end up with a Primary Arms 3X scope for it before it's all over.
  5. I got my delivery of the build kit for my 7.62X39 AR. Everything was well packaged in a USPS priority mail box. This is what came in the box. I will put a Larue trigger in it and probably an SLR synergy brake that I have as well. I am new to this type of build, so I am open to discussing alternatives. I put this thread in this forum to highlight our site sponsor, @MoriartiArmaments. They were great to deal with and communication was prompt and personal when I had questions. Packaging and shipping were without a problem. I encourage anyone to buy from them if they find a deal on something they "can't live without." I will post updates as I go through the build and figure out that I don't know as much as I hoped.
  6. Welcome from Texas.
  7. Hamburgers and hot dogs cooked over mesquite wood with very light seasoning.
  8. I'm sitting in the shade, about to cook hamburgers and going to shoot a little afterwards. Life is good.
  9. I've had several patients say the same thing after years of riding. With young people more interested in their phone than driving, they decided it wasn't worth it anymore.
  10. Here is a new video in the same series. Jacob gives a great small business economic lesson at the end.
  11. If you have not already, you should read the PSA part of the forum. There is some really good information about successful rifles and what was done to make them that way.
  12. Lgs told me Rock River had to lay off 30 people for that reason.
  13. Hope you are still doing OK down there.
  14. He is west of me about 170 miles. I can't be certain, but he is likely OK from the storm.
  15. I am just south of Wash and in no danger. I know there are others on the forum are in the middle of this... @Madhouse comes to mind.
  16. Welcome from up I45 a ways.
  17. Now that you say that, I believe mine did as well. I bought 2 of them with the last sale. I looked at them and put them up for future builds that I thought might come up soon.
  18. Thanks in advance for the help I know I'll need. I ordered this kit. It has all but the lower and mags. Up front, I only plan to change the trigger. But that will likely change.
  19. Thanks, I will review your thread and may end up with another trigger. I'll get it together and see how it runs before I make a decision. I would hate to have to buy another trigger.
  20. It comes with everything except the lower. I do have a Larue trigger that I planned to put in it.
  21. Just ordered a 7.62x39 build kit from @MoriartiArmaments. I hope to get it together, tested and bring it to the fall shoot.
  22. This not as revealing as Wash's picture, but it's what I took through welding glass.
  23. Welcome to the forum. What did you get?
