  1. Please don't make a live action version of that emoji. You didn't read the contract you signed after the Jameson was empty? I would say that could be true but I was asleep long before the Jamieson came out.
  2. I will be the first to state that I willingly loaned that to him. With interest, he'll owe me an entire Larue rifle before too long.
  3. Do you have pictures of the brass, both the damaged and undamaged ones for comparison? What receiver extension (buffer tube) do you have and what is the internal depth? What spring are you using?
  4. If you can find a Diamondback set, that is also good to go.
  5. In this environment, you have to get why you know can work together. Here is one option. https://www.cdnnsports.com/ar-308-upper-receiver-assembly-dpms-gen-1.html https://www.cdnnsports.com/dpms-lr308-complete-lower-stock-graphite-black.html
  6. Welcome from Texas
  7. So you're waiting for social security?
  8. Great! Then I'll finally have the spare that someone on the forum owes me. We'll see how long it takes for that person to find this. 😃
  9. If you buy one on my recommendation and don't like it, I will buy it from you for what you paid plus the shipping to me.
  10. It is likely a milspec trigger which are one stage. They are stiff but can be improved with work. I had one milspec trigger in my first AR. It has been replaced with a Larue.
  11. Where did that picture come from? Is it a stock photo from a website or something that you already own? The quick answer is to get a Larue MBT2S. It is a hell of a trigger, especially for the price point. They also have a 1 stage trigger that I haven't tried. Both are available in curved or straight option.
  12. He's not really 29. That's just where he ran out of fingers and toes to count.
  13. Welcome from Texas. I was in my 40s when I started coming to the forum.
  14. In my best Forest Gump, "I ain't got no hair, Tom."
  15. You have given some idea of the meeting. I remember spooning being mentioned.
  16. You may find some helpful products here. http://acme.com/catalog/acme.html#:~:text=ACME is a worldwide leader, set the standard for excellence.
  17. After rereading that, I shouldn't drink whiskey during the week.
  18. @98Z5V is a real, normal guy. I have met him. At the same time, he is the best friend you have yet to meet. He will give you anything he has to offer and let virtual strangers stay at his house without question. He can also be your worst enemy. If you are an ass, he will call you on it and not let you get away with it. He has the most knowledge of the AR platform of anyone I know. That may be because I have not met @mrraley though. He still needs to make it to a shoot with us one day.
  19. Welcome to the forum.
  20. @Rsquared, Susan and I have made 40th anniversary plans in 2029-30. That should give them time to get the bugs out. Are you in? I wonder if we can have a spring shoot up there? www.washingtonpost.com/travel/2021/03/03/space-hotel-orbital-assembly/%3foutputType=amp It's probably as close to Star Trek as we'll get.
  21. If it is an AR15 carbine tube, it will be 7 inches internal depth. You will need a 2.5" buffer at 5.4 oz. If it is Armalite AR10 carbine buffer tube length, it will be 7 9/16" deep and a 3.25" buffer at 5.4oz will work. The buffer spring may cause a problem as there is no "standard" 308 buffer spring. If it is a rifle buffer spring, you will likely have problems with a carbine buffer tube (more appropriately called the receiver extension)
  22. I bet the reason the nozzle wouldn't go in is because she drives an electric car.
